As far as I know if you changed it and don't remember it you need to push and hold reset button to set back to factory defaults.

have you tryed bridge mode on the modem which device is doing the routing dhcp only one can do the dhcp is the internet light lit on the router, the router is set for ppoe for dsl try turning off dchp on the router let the modem handle

Reconnect you USB Network adapter in your PC to another USB Port and Please Use Backside usb port.

On the back of the router you will see what looks like a pin hole, turn the router on and use a paperclip to push into the hole(it's a reset button) and keep it pushed in till the router cycles off then on again, it resets the router to default. Hope this helps.

Hello, Sit at your computer and open up IE browser. After this has opened up, go up to the url bar and erase anything there and when this is blank, type in http://192.168.1.1 then hit the enter key. The router should now pop up a login menu close to the middle of your monitor. The default password for Linksys routers is ADMIN leave the user name blank and just enter the password ADMIN This then will open up the routers main menus and at the top of the tabs look for the tab named "wireless" click on this tab and look this menu over and you should find the box to check or uncheck to accomplish what you want done. Good luck. By the way, while your in the routers menu "Change the Default Password" to something that you have to write down! leaving the password set the the factory default is a huge mistake. For the WRT310n, back to the User Guide (download from Linksys), perform a reset and start over following setup instructions (make sure the router is hardwired to the laptop). Set up a new home network on the laptop using Control Panel. Make sure the adapter settings are correct and good to go. Then see if you can connect to the router with your browser to set it up. After setup, you should be able to connect to the router wirelessly from the laptop, but you have to make sure the wireless transmitter inside the laptop is turned on first (see the laptop user manual).

Sounds like it went kaput. I would try it in a different computer to confirm it is not a usb issue.

More info, you have a modem/router and another router? and what is "both" independently? and "while they are both connected" both what? If you just have one box the modem router, disable bridge mode or you just have a modem then with no routing.

Hi Did you install DMa software in your machine ? if you did and is not working .Try this install windows 7,8 and it will pick the signal
