I get an "Invalid Key
Uninstall the usb device in device manager and reboot. It should reinstall it and then ask you for network and password info,
My notebook connect to the internet with lan or wireless through my Linksys WRT610N but I cannot connect to the external hd connected to the router since upgrading to Windows 8 (different user name)
It is looking for the password for your disk, not the wifi password. This is a common issue when people connect a disk to a network as the user name and password are not compatible. The easiest solution is to ensure that the password and user name on your disk are the same as the user name and password on your computer. If this does not work, then it may be that the user who created the files on your disk is not the same as the user who wants to access them. This is one of the security features on the later versions of windows. The users may be you in both cases, but if the user name is different, then you will have trouble getting access. It is a bit involved changing the security and permissions to get around this, so I suggest you find a friend who knows how to do this, and who can show you what you need to do. The easiest way is to ensure that all files are read and write accessible by "everyone" where "everyone" is a windows guest user.

E900 no internet access
You can try turning off the router for 2 mins and try to access the user interface again . If turning off the device will not work then what you can do is connect the modem to the PC , download
Firmware for your router , connect the router back to the computer ,access the user interface again and perform the upgrade .

I changed from Grande Communications (cable
are you talking about WIFI signal or phone signal?
if you have the router set up that means it is a wifi signal. u can also get an ethernet cable (cat6 or 7 preferably) and plug from computer directly to router.
how was the original Grande Communications wired? or was it WIFI?
how is the ATT connected? wired or WIFI?
Wps54g wireless failed to connect but works with
It sounds like you are using a router, then using a router in series with it. The two networks will most likely not be seen between computers hooked on different routers, although you should be able to get to the Internet. If you need more ports, get a switch instead of a second router. To make the printer work with what you have, use the wireless printer on the same network (that is, from the same router.) If you need the second router for more area coverage, get an extender.

Wireless 2.4ghz router for wifi
Wrt54g can be used as either a wireless router or access point. I am not familiar with your broadband service, but if it has a data port just connect it to Internet port.

Hi, I'm getting an Error
There is a reset button on the back of the unit, I think next to the power connection, hold it in for 10 seconds.Do not confuse this with the WPS button on the front
Have you configured the WET610N on static ip or DHCP....?
Reset the WET610N..Connect the computer to the WET...Open the setup page of WET and re-configure all the settings again.Once done, power cycle the router and bridge.Now,check.
Using linksys wireless router like
You may have to link up with your IT department at work and have them list your linksys router for access to the corporate network.
This should help.
Xbox and laptop cant connect at the same time
your ethernet cable from comcast gets plugged into the wan port of the linksys switch. plug the xbox and laptop to one of the lan ports. the comcast box is a modem/router? without the router it won't assign dhcp addresses

Network path not found as defined below when logging on
Sounds like you took your work computer home to do some work and its looking to connect to the company server to get your credentials to give you access to the system and files.
I would guess you need the VPN connection to connect to the server its looking for.
From what info you provided that's all we can tell you.
Poor signal range - I have just moved to a new
The general rule for WiFi is to have the router placed at a reasonable height above the items that wish to use it. This is because the radio waves travel downwards
It was probably a repeater that was recommended to boost the signal.
Not all ports working
Sounds like you may have some wires cross between your switch and your router. And if someone worked on your pc, there probably something wrong with it too. Most places dont know how to fix a computer they just reinstall the OS and hand it back to you, less the unique drivers from your computer mfg for hardware such as network adapter drivers. Connect dirctly to the modem and got to dell support or whomever and check drivers
