2008 Ford Fusion. How to disable alarm wire purple/brown neg rest do I make pos to get alarm disarmed? No money got to get to work. The alarm messed up. Please help.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Motorcycles to model category. You can't bypass vehicle alarm and security systems. They are there to stop exactly what you are trying to do. You have two computers, the ECM and BCM, plus the alarm module and a number of sensors protecting the vehicle from theft and unauthorized removal. You can't trick them because you can't reprogram them. Either do a security system reset or find an auto electrician or locksmith / alarm installer. Cheaper than the dealership! https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

1998 Ford Windstar. Loud grind sound when started it.

Question edited for clarity and fix funky punctuation and lack of spaces. Question moved to model category. My first thought was that the timing belt had snapped, but you have a timing chain and it says this Does a Ford Windstar have a timing belt or chain? Best Answer. Your Ford Windstar had two engine options and they both ran a timing chain, not a timing belt. Belts need to be replaced at around 100K miles, but since you have a hardened steel timing chain, you have nothing to worry about. Your chain should last the life of the engine without being serviced. May 28, 2019 Has the oil ever been changed. You saying there was a 'pop' concerns me but it may have been a backfire, or unburned fuel popping through the Throttle Body. And then there is the grinding sound, but that might just be the starter on the flywheel. The only way to diagnose is to call out a mobile mechanic. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+mechanic+near+me ..

2014 Ford Escape. How do I replace the heater core please? I definitely need a new one, but the shop wants over $2000 to do it. Is there a way to back flush?

Question edited for clarity. Two questions made into one. Duplicate deleted. What makes you think you need a new one? Is it leaking? That is the only reason to replace it. No heat? This is the normal reason. https://www.fixya.com/support/r29872074-vehicle_cooling_system_no_heat It is a $2,000 job because the dash has to come off and sometimes the A/C evaporator needs removing as well. BUT, descaling or flushing the system is easy and done from where the hoses go through the engine firewall ..

My 2003 Ford Windstar recently had a new fuel injector installed after running rough. It still lacks full power while driving it. Mechanic has had it 19 days and still can't find the reason.

There could be several possible causes for the power loss, such as a bad battery, a faulty alternator, a clogged fuel filter, a damaged wiring harness, or a parasitic power draw. To diagnose the problem, you may need to test the battery voltage, the alternator output, the fuel pressure, and the electrical current draw. You can also check the battery cables and terminals for corrosion, and the fuses and relays for any signs of damage.

Where is the fuel tank pressure sensor located (2010 ford escape 2.5L?) Code P0451

The fuel tank pressure sensor in a 2010 Ford Escape is part of the vehicle's fuel pump assembly. You will find it either inside the tank or mounted to the top of the tank. The P0451 code indicates that the EVAP system pressure sensor is malfunctioning in some way. This code is usually caused by either a bad EVAP pressure sensor, a clogged fuel tank relief valve, EVAP lines, EVAP wiring, or a bad fuel cap. If you have other EVAP related trouble codes, it is recommended to focus on them first and see if it helps remedy this one.

Repair 1999 F250 shifter

I had the same problem. Remove the fuse panel, look up under the dash, move your shift lever back and forth and you will see the shift linkage. There are two screws that will back themselves out over time. It will be a star head bolt. Tigthen them all the way down and it will shift like new.
