These codes indicate the engine is running lean on both banks, check your fuel filter and if good you need to have your fuel pump tested under load, these codes are almost always the pump in my experience but note that if both front O2 sensors went bad at the same time or the intake manifold could have a major leak but the leak would have to have started on both sides at the same time. My hunch is if you change the pump and filter you should be alright, I have problems with aftermarket fuel pumps like carter and napa so I use Ford pumps. I hope this helps. Take care.

replace the relay, jumper wire wont work, there is a small set of points inside the relay, there probably burnt, or stuck open

We will have to pinpoint what the engine is missing.
- Spark
- Fuel
- Compression

All three of these are tested when the engine is being cranked over. There are two way of checking for fuel. Fuel pressure and fuel trigger. Both are very important and must be present for the car to start. Fuel pressure is self explanatory. You just hook up the gage and see what the reading is. Fuel trigger is check with a noid light. The injector gets unplugged and the noid light gets plugged in to the injector clip. With the engine cranking over, this light must blink. This is the signal to the injectors from the computer. You can have all the fuel pressure in the world, but it wont matter if the injector is not pulsing gas into the cylinder like it should! Compression tester, spark tester, fuel pressure gage and noid light are all accessible at your local auto store. All three tests play a very important part in diagnosing a no start condition. Be extremely careful when doing these tests.

Thereis a relay in the Power Distribution Box, that governs the fuel pump (click image for zoom)...

Problem with hot wiring the ignition is that the vehicle will start and run but with out turning the ignition the steering wheel will be locked > I suggest a new ignition switch , you can always hammer a flat head screw driver in the ignition were the key goes and turn the ignition. Either way you will need a new ignition switch .

There is no reset, if the light is on and/or you have a no start condition then you need it tested to determine the cause.

What does the engine temp show? A bad sensor could be causing this. It could also be the body control module.

I have replaced more faulty HVAC actuators that were not clicking. Those noises you speak of, may indicate a binding door inside the HVAC box causing the gears to skip and strip. These actuators receive a command from the HVAC controller and send position data back to the controller. The feedback data should be within 1 or 2 counts of the command or request. This data can only be read with a scan tool that can show live data. Your local parts store may have this type scan tool to save you from having to pay for diag. at a shop. If you have a B or Body DTC or code it may be from the HVAC controller telling of feedback error in that actuator. HVAC actuators fail often. It would not be out of line to go ahead and swap it with a new part or a known good one. Just don't plug it in until you have installed it. Most vehicles use the same part number actuator in all positions. You may pull your own mode actuator and install it on the passenger blend position as a diagnostic exercise. I would swap the suspected part with a new one and save all that wrench time. Best of Luck!
