The printer have its own initialization but seem to fail to complete initialization process. Check and clear the carriage jam, open check for motor failure in the carriage system.

Your error codes are related to the drum MASTER. It has either fallen off or needs to be replaced

Maybe try this, it woks on Sagem that also produces xerox mfp...

Follow the keystrokes set out below, do not worry about what is on the display unless stated to check. All letters referred to are for the keys on the alpha key pad to the right of the control panel, under the plastic flap.

1st option: Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 1, ok, stop (red button),
Press down arrow, #, T.
The machine returns to the error code. Switch the machine off for 10 seconds, switch
back on. If successful the machine will warm up and come ready.
Press down arrow, *, #, 0 (ZERO), ok, stop.

2nd option
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 1, ok, stop.
Press down arrow, #, look on the display, press up arrow until "T>>PRINTER" is
displayed. Press ok. The machine returns to the error code. Switch the machine off for 10
seconds, switch it back on. If successful the machine will warm up and come ready.
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 0 (ZERO), ok, stop.
If this is a recurring problem the firmware on the board may need to be upgraded, or there
is a physical fault with the fuser unit. Low voltage / power surges in the supply power to
the machine may also play a part in the occurrence of the error.
The firmware needs to be version 1.10.

To check the firmware version do the following:
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 1, ok, stop.
Press down arrow, *, W
Firmware version is displayed. Press stop to clear screen.
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 0 (ZERO), ok, stop.
5401:
Press down arrow, *, #, ok, 1, ok, stop
Press *
The trace lists will be printed, firmware version is after PRT, as in example below.
In this example, the printer firmware is: PRT V 1.5
It is older than V 1.10 and the printer firmware need to be upgraded.njk

Hello nelco9,I can help you clear the code easy enough. But there is a strong probability the code will come back almost immedietly.Copiers use high heat and pressure to bond the toner to the paper.It is of course critical to accurately monitor this high temp as to insure against fire.The code E0000000-001 means that for any number of reasons the copier did not or could not reliably monitor this temp.Now, something as simple as a momentary variation in the power to the plug the device is plugged into can cause this code as the plug voltage and/or frequency is sufficient to interfere with the copier's ability to track the temp, so lets hope for the best.Trust me there are so many fail safes involved in this process that the copier will properly shut down if the problem is serious.Ok,locate the'ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS" button on the op panel.It is just to the right of the 9 key pad.Press it, let go, then the numbers 2&8 simaltaneously,let go, then ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS again.You will see a new screen.Press "copier". Tabs appear at the top.Press the "function" button.New screen again.Press "clear".New screen.Press "ERR" .Press "OK" in the lower right corner.Now if you TRULY know where the main power switch is (right rear of copier about halfway down) then power the copier off.If in doubt simply unplug the copier.When you turn it back on the copier will attemt to start up as normal.If it does then congrats !!.If it fails you will need a new fusing unit which can run as high as $800. This is fixing error. I don't see the model so it makes it hard to know what to do. If it is a imagerunner - you have to go into service mode - Additional Functions, the press 2 & 8 at the same time, then additional functions again. That should get you into service mode. Then press copier, the function, clear, the err, then ok. This clears the error. Turn off copier then power back on. If the same error occurs then you will have to have a new fixing assy or rebuild it. Be careful in service mode and don't change any settings. This may cause worse problems. Good Luck

How to Change the Language Settings on the Dell V305/V305W...

  2. Hold down both the Right Arrow button and the Start button.
  3. With both buttons held down, turn on the printer. NOTE: This will reset the printer language to the default which is English. You will have to re-select yourspecific language and country and also enter the date, time, and fax information.
