your pick pick paper is dirty and the printer can't grab a piece of paper. it will say paper jam when it does this. get a drop of dishsoap and clean the pickup roller of your printer with this. scrape at it with your fingernail to get the roller clean and wipe it off with a damp washcloth. Remove all the ink cartridges and then try to perform a Hard reset on the printer. * With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Hi I found just this online Sadly Olivetti didn't have a troubleshooting guide for this printer "head cable be not fixed properly or may be damaged secondly ps card may be not good"

Probably needs a clean and service. You could try spraying the key arms with WD40 or similar. Check first with someone who knows typewriters just in case im wrong.
