you will need to inspect all of the fuses and some times the fuse boxes are in different locations around the car such as engine compartment under the dashboard behind the kick plates drivers side and passengers side and when you locate the fuse boxes the should be clearly marked what each fuse is for (you can usually find this on the under side of the fuse cover or it can be printed on the out side as well)and some fuses will be used for a number of components eg lighter and radio and overhead lights,or horn and hazard lights, blinkers and tail lights, these are just examples and most cars will have there own system in which they hook up components to use the fuses . The hand book will point out the location of any fuse boxes installed in the car but if you dont have it then you will have to go looking for them .

My manual door lock is jamming and won't unlock with Key.
I know your problem because I've been thru it. You need to remove the inside door panel and spray some lubricant on the connections that are hooked between the key tumbler and the lock. You won't hurt anything by doing this, but it has to be done. The graphite in the door switch doesn't last long, as you well know. It just finally wears off and your back to square one.
97 civic 5spd. Jumping while accelerating.
Just check the transmission fluid-if low you have to add until it is full-do not overfill though. Better to have it just a bit low than overfilling it.
In park, can you accelerate to 2500-3000 rpm, and hold steady with no shaking or indications of a miss? If it runs good in park or neutral, then you probably have transmission problems. Frankly, it is pretty rare for a torque converter to develop a problem. Check your fluid, or try changing the fluid if it is dark or dirty looking.
