1996 honda accord highbeams not working

check the light switch on the stalk. Also check the relay it will be under the bonnet . Voltage should be supplied t0 the relay when light switch turned on and then relay should click on and voltage 12 v should be switched to the headlight from the switched relay contacts. Suspect worn light switch . You could run a wire from 12v to contact on relay that powers the coil on the relay to prove if relay works and switch is cause of your problem

I have a 2003 Honda Civic and is jerking when I accelerate suddenly

Most repairs are covered by AT LEAST A 90 DAY WARRANTY. Get that car back in there and tell them it's been having issues since you took it back from them. Ask them what they are prepared to do for you before you get legal help. That should get the ball rolling in the right direction.

Just recently my licence plate light and exterior

There is a wiring harness that connects all those lights on the trunk lid to the system. There usually is a connection to take the trunk lid off. IT is near the hinge support legs that lead from the lid to the hinges under the rear deck of the passenger compartment. Check that connection to be sure that it is not loose or damaged. IF it is not loose or damaged then the ground connection through the chassis parts that mount the trunk lid are suspect or there is a broken wire in the harness.

Lighter plug seems burnt out

Even if the fuse shows no signs of being blown (one such sign might be a black spot), you might want to try a different fuse of the same amperage to make sure. If the fuse is good, you have more work to do. Check whether power is getting to the outlet by testing it with a voltmeter or circuit tester. If the voltmeter shows power is reaching the outlet, the outlet itself is probably damaged from repeated use or simple misuse. Though chargers and other plug-ins are supposed to be of uniform size, some may be bigger or smaller than others. time to get a new outlet then.

Tableau de bord à démonter Civic 97

https://itstillruns.com/replace-civic-heater-core-5731244.html Remove the center console from the interior of the vehicle using the screwdriver. Remove the gear shift knob and disconnect the heat switch connectors (which should just pull out of the switches); front power accessory port and rear power accessory port (which should just pull out of the socket connectors); and illumination power cables (which should simply un-clamp by hand with squeeze connectors). Remove the lower dashboard panels, driver glove box and center storage pocket using the screwdriver. Carefully remove the airbag assembly from the steering wheel and the passenger side. The airbags are held in place with spring clamps, which will pop open with mild pressure. Be careful to not apply too much pressure--even a discharged airbag may still deploy if too much shock is applied. Separate the steering column assembly from the dashboard unit by moving the column to the fully up position. Use a piece of heavy tape to secure the shaft sliding cover onto the steering column while it is removed. Remove the hoses by opening the spring hose clamps using the vise grips. Remove all remaining wires. Remove the harnesses and retainer bolts using the Phillips screwdriver. Remove the connectors, air bag control computer and center lower covers by squeezing open the hand squeeze clamps. (This may require the assistance of another person.) Lift the dashboard out slowly and remove it from the vehicle by sliding it out of one of the doors.

Why does my Honda's brake lights stay on when the car is turned off?

The brake light switch under the dash is compressed by the brake pedal when not in use, that should be the issue. You can check the voltage at the switch next to the brake pedal to verify voltage.

Trunk latch broken won't open hatchback, how can I remove panels to access for repair

Most often, access to the trunk is achieved by folding the rear seat down. If not, remove the seat and you'll have access to the trunk area. If access isn't a problem, get yourself a plastic panel removal tool set from parts store and make sure it's not cold when you remove the panels as they'll be more likely to break from being brittle from the cold. Take your time.

I have a 2001 honda

If it were the immobilizer, you would have a security light that would be flashing or staying on all the time the key is in on. Since the engine cranks over and the pump is working when you turn the key to on and start, the green light may just mean the bulb is burnt out or a connection problem with that wire for the light. Not much of a problem there. You said no fuel or fire when trying to start-so that is where to concentrate: you first need to verify that the ignition still is working, so check for spark on a plug wire with the engine cranking over. This could be a main fuse or main relay not passing power on to the ignition system and/or the injector circuit. First check for spark, and if you have spark, check the injector circuit (there is a fuse for the injectors-probably under the hood in a fuse/relay block). If you have no spark, you will have to diagnose the ignition system- coils, ignition control module (the ignitor), the crank angle or crank position sensor, finally the engine computer.
