Best thing is go to YouTube, How to get Honda code in minutes by Kris Tran DIY Automotive or read below.
Here's an explanation. Turn ignition key to 2nd position til lights come on. Press the power off on the radio. Press the 1 and 6 buttons simultaneously. Press power back on the radio and you will see displayed U1112 and then L1447, write the numbers down, these are samples numbers I am using. You only need the 8 digits not the letters later on. Get the VIN number of your vehicle. Go online to radio-navicode.honda.com Fill in the info as directed, vin# your zip code, your email, serial# 11121447(example numbers) Press Submit. Your radio code will pop up (5 digits), write it down. Go back to your car and enter those digits and wala you have it working. No need to call dealership or Honda. You will also receive an email with the code, print and store in case you need it some other time.
My manual door lock is jamming and won't unlock with Key.
I know your problem because I've been thru it. You need to remove the inside door panel and spray some lubricant on the connections that are hooked between the key tumbler and the lock. You won't hurt anything by doing this, but it has to be done. The graphite in the door switch doesn't last long, as you well know. It just finally wears off and your back to square one.
I have a 2008 Honda Civic which blows cold hair at first and then starts blowing warm air.
It sounds like you are just tossing parts on it, not diagnosing it first. Sometimes it is cheaper to pay a professional. Does the compressor stay running when it isn't cold? If so, is the return pipe, (the large 1) cold? When you replaced the freon, was it evacuated proprely, with a vacuum pump, for at least 20 minutes at -28 psi vacuum? If the compressor turns off when it gets warm, is power still going to the compressor? If it is, the magnetic coil is failing and/or the clutch gap has become excessive, not unusual on higher mileage Hondas. Your question about the fuse baffles me, why even ask, just replace it with a spare fuse.
