They may be limiting your bandwidth. I think it's called throttling back.. you might call them and ask about the problem.

If the screen went black but the laptop still turns on most likely the problem is related to the graphics chip but to be sure I would disconnect all the power including the battery, leave the laptop for a few minutes and try again if the screen is still black you will need to repair the graphics chip and if the screen is black but you can still see some text on the LCD than the inverter needs to be replace.

1. Make sure the USB connector from the receiver is properly plugged into a USB port on the computer. Some systems ship with the receiver already preinstalled in the unit itself. Please check your mouse to see if there is a receiver inside of the battery compartment door.
2. Make sure wireless keyboard is not on a metallic surface.
3. Ensure that the receiver is 8-inches from other electrical devices.
4. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port to ensure that the USB port is working properly.
5. Check the batteries in the keyboard and mouse to make sure they are installed correctly.
6. Test the batteries to ensure that they still have a charge.
7. Verify the On/Off switch on the keyboard and mouse are switched to On.
8. Some receivers, keyboards, and mice may have a connect button. If so, follow the steps below:
   1. Plug the USB receiver into a USB port on your computer.
   2. Press the connect button on top of the receiver and the button will blink.
   3. Press the connect button on the bottom of the keyboard to activate the wireless connection.
   4. Press the connect button on top of the receiver and the button will blink.
   5. Press the connect button on the bottom of the mouse to activate the wireless connection.

contact the administration of the patient gateway system direct on the phone and have them talk you through the problem I suspect that it could be as simple as not including gender or address( MR,MRS, etc)so the computer cannot distinguish that there is a different application

get it checked first to findout where the problem is

You probably need to replace the screen. Sounds like it has given up the ghost.

Connect the hdmi (in) to the TV and the computer hdmi. Go into the sound settings (control panel or settings in Windows... preferences on a Mac) and choose the hdmi as the playback device. so the PC is dead, you proved that. right. are both fans running and PC clean of lint first PSU fan blows. CPU fan blows and all top end GPU card fans blow. do they, and they MUST. if one is dead, it is bad if all 3 are dead the PSU is dead. not once did you mention sounds. silent PC, no fans ,no video ever. your tests above show the GPU card is NOT IT. (its out now) anything inside a PC can short out and make PSU to offline by Design, (fire protection is real)

you have a bad hard drive first you need a new hard drive then you need to reinstall windows with a usb or cd copy of the version of windows you were running.

time to save everything to another save source and replace that hard drive use a solid state hard drive as a replacement as there are no moving parts to wear out

This sounds like Vid Chip failure, That has a very inexpensive mother board that can be replaced There is one listed on a popular site that sells used parts for $10.00 right now

I am assuming the operating system is Windows Vista ? Windows has a mechanism that detects the hardware on your computer and will most likely get upset that it has been copied onto another P.C.
