Hi, you need to have the cable that goes from the back of the printer into a usb socket on your pc. You should have got two cables with the printer the power cable to supply the printer and another cable that also goes into the printer and the other end usb goes into a slot in your pc that's how it transfers info printer to pc. You should have got an installation printer disk that you have to install into your pc so that you can pull the printer up on your pc and they both recognize each other.
