Even though I clean and now have started to spray
Hi GMVLAHOS. Sorry to hear about your difficulties with removing your mixing blades. By the description of the symptoms, I think that the ‘groove pin’ (the pin sticking out from the agitator shaft that locks your blade onto the shaft) has loosened and shifted out or bent (or both) and this may be the cause of your difficulty in removing your mixing tools.
The ‘groove’ pin is supposed to be tightly fitted to the agitator shaft but it is possible, over time and use, that it has loosened and shifted or bent to the point that the mixing blades ‘appear’ to be stuck and doesn’t come off easily. A quick inspection of the agitator shaft as well as the blade attachment wells can confirm the diagnosis.
Inspect the opposite side of the groove pin hole on the agitator shaft. The end of the groove pin should be flush (or very nearly flush) with exterior of the agitator shaft. If there is a significant space then the groove pin has started to come free from the agitator shaft. The groove pin will still remain in place but the clearances between the pin and the blades may be reduced to zero, making the blades ‘stick’ when you try to remove them.
Also check the blade and see if there might be some additional scouring inside the attachment well where the groove pin contacts the blade when you mount or remove the blade.
How can you fix this? If you are DITY type person and feel adventurous, and if the groove pin does not look bent then a couple of light blows with a small hammer and punch should drive the pin back home tight. If the pin looks bent, then you would need to replace it. To remove the groove pin, you’ll need a small diameter punch (smaller than the diameter of the groove pin) to drive the pin from the agitator shaft.
You will need the Parts List manual on hand. If you're lacking one, you can download one from the KA website at: http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/home.
Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals & Guides> Enter the 6 character model number, in your case use K45SSW select Parts List (1), K45SSWH0.pdf (341.41 KB), and then check to see it this matches your mixer model.
Turn to pages 4 & 5, titled: Case, Gearing And Planetary Unit for the disassembly and reassembly of your mixer, along with all the parts. Locate Illus. No. 21, Groove pin in Illus No. 26, Agitator Shaft Assembly. The groove pin is what needs to be replaced.
Here are four potential vendors in no particular order: RepairClinic.com; mendingshed.com; searspartsdirect.com; and partstore.com. Prices can vary widely between vendors, so do your comparison shopping.
Finally, here are some links to several excellent websites that detail the disassembling/reassembly of a KA Mixer.
Between these three websites and their excellent pictures and descriptions and your Parts List manual, you should now be able to completely disassemble and reassemble your mixer, should you decide to go that route.
If you feel this repair is beyond your capability, then I would seek out a local small appliance repair shop in your area. KA Customer Care can give you names of local KA authorized repair shops in your area, but you can also do an online search to supplement what KA may provide you. Call to explain your circumstances and find out their hourly rate and get an estimate of what they think it would cost to repair your mixer. Also, always obtain three or more estimates – do some comparison shopping. I hope this helps. Howard, Burke, VAIf this solution was helpful, please rate it, thanks! – hslincoln

Hello. Approximately one year
Hi.
That means that the sealing was allowing liquid getting inside the attachment gears, and now it is leaking lubricant from the ice cream attachment. I don't think that the unit can be repaired, the ice cream attachment is all in one block, and I have not seen any part being distributed.

E2 error code
In reading the manual for this coffee pot, it needs to have the descaling procedure run. The manual lists running a mixture of 6 cups water and 6 cups vinegar in a normal brew cycle...twice to clean hard water deposits from the machine. It says to make sure to remove the filter basket. Once the procedure is complete, unplug the unit and replug in to remove the E2 code.
KitchenAid Stove KERS205TSS 2 light issues.
The issue with the oven display light and the oven light on the KitchenAid Stove KERS205TSS 2 may be related. The problem with the oven display light could be due to a faulty control board or a malfunctioning light switch. The control board may need to be replaced if it is not sending a continuous signal to keep the light on. On the other hand, if the light switch is defective, it may not be able to maintain a connection to keep the light on.
The issue with the oven light staying on could also be due to a faulty light switch. If the switch is stuck in the "on" position, it will not turn off even when the door is closed. This can cause the bulb to burn out prematurely and waste energy. To fix this issue, you may need to replace the light switch.
It is possible that both issues are related and caused by a malfunctioning control board. If this is the case, replacing the control board should fix both problems.
To fix these issues, it is recommended to contact a certified technician or an authorized service center for KitchenAid appliances. They will have the expertise and tools necessary to diagnose and repair the stove safely and effectively.
