instal my printer without the cd installer HP Deskjet 1051

I have the same problem,only pick up some of the paper and then stop.

>Check pick up roller trying to pick the paper?>Clean pick up roller.>Check any paper objects struck in side?

Chose language and OS version. After downloading the file, double click on the downloaded file to start printer setup wizard.

Keep printer unplugged when you start installing files.

Unplug from power source and from power supply and remove a small philips screw driver the screw holding the power supply pack in rear of printer. Examine power supply for cracks, reinstall and try againg.
You may need to replace power supply unit.

Not familiar with Frontier...most email programs has a "print view" option...if not try highlighting by click & drag across what you want to print, click file at top left,print, selection,ok

clean the buffer before fiving print and then restart the system. If the problem occurs same then reinstall the printer driver and then try to print

Congratulations, it probably has the best inkjet printer mechanics in the world. Anyway. The contacts in the carriage are tiny rods on springs. They can loose contact both in front due to ink, or in the back due to softened springs or oxidized carriage PCB. You have to dismantle the carriage to strengthen the springs and to clean their footprints. Second version: probably the flex cable from the main board to the carriage got cracks in the conductor and needs replacement. It happens often with old or heavily used inkjets/design-jets. Check the paper size settings to match the loaded paper. This would happen (for example) if you have loaded A4 paper but your driver is set to print on letter format. Letter is wider than A4 by 6mm and while the printer is trying to print near to the right side, assuming the paper is wider, part of the ink goes on the paper support. Other reason may be the paper size in the document is set to be larger than the loaded paper format and driver prints only what can be fit on the loaded paper.

Common problem with this particular Printer is a Bad Power Supply,needs to be replaced,its nothing related to the cleaning you did.you have Order a new power supply Board,open the back cover of printer and Install it.

Make sure the covers are closed completly. It will not print unless its closed. If its not that, then check to make sure you didn't knock one of the cables loose inside the printer, and make sure the belt that moves the cartridges is still intact and is not jammed.

I had this problem on the 6300 and was able to fix it by doing the following:

After selecting print, select preferences.
Select the Features tab.
Under Resizing Options, select "Custom" from the drop down menu.
Put in the custom dimensions of the paper on which you are printing.
Save it under a new name (e.g., "Invitation")

When it is time to print,
Select "More" from the drop down tab under Resizing Options.
At the bottom of the list of those options, you will see your custom sized saved.
Select it, and happy printing.

Have you tried to uninstall reboot and re install all hp printer software
