Printer will not print in color, only black. We just replaced the cartridges.

If its an HP inkjet printer you may have set it to print in black and white. To change this setting go to "control panel", then "printers and devices", right click on your printer, then "printing preferences", "advanced", then uncheck "print in greyscale"......Good luck !

As soon as you turn

You need to clear the print queue from the (any) workstation that is printing to it.

  • go to Control Panel/Printers
  • Open the printer in question
  • highlight any documents awaiting print
  • press 'delete'

The documents may not all completely delete until the printer is turned back on.

If this doesn't fix it then please reply before rating this answer as I can detail a manual method of clearing the queue, but I recommend using the above process first.

4th light is on cant

disconnect plug from wall. wait a few minutes before reconnecting. this may allow the printer to reset and print whatever remains in the queue.

Hi, Those cartridges could be dry because they have been sitting sooo long. Buy new ones and you'll be good to go. Good luck.

My HP DeskJet 932C prints,

Hi,

A faded print image is normally the result of one of two conditions: the print density is set too low, or Economode printing is turned on. For the settings, a printer self-test (typically a separate button on the printer) will show what the current settings are. If Economode is on, and users are complaining about how light the print is, turn it off and/or set the print density higher. If the problem still persist after all this, then you will need to reset your printer to fix the abnormality.

Stopped printing and will not continue.... the

Press the "Power" button to turn off the printer. Wait a few seconds and then power it back on.

Power off the printer again if you are still running into problems and disconnect the power cable from the AC power. Wait a few seconds and reconnect the power cable. Power on the printer. This simple procedure resets the printer back to the default factory settings. Move to the next step if the reset does not work. Select "Setup" on the CD and select "Remove HP Desk Jet 932c. The printer software and drivers are removed from your computer. Reconnect the USB Cable to the printer. The installation disc automatically recognizes it and begins reinstalling the software and drivers.

Print a test sheet to verify that the printer is now working. You can print a test sheet using a word processing application.
