Good Morning Andres,

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire laundry center, model# FEX831F, and the washer leaking water from the drum top onto the floor. It could possibly be that your washer door is either not closed all the way or is not sealing properly. I suggest checking to make sure that the door is closed all the way. If it is, I would check the seal, and see if there anything that might be damaged and allowing water to leak from the drum top. If you are unable to find anything that might be allowing the water to leak out, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and see why you are having water leak from the drum top. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Water runs out of bottom of drum through machine onto floor

The first thing to check is the bellows, also called the front seal. Look for any tears, if any found, that would be your problem. If not, then the next thing is to take the top off the machine by removing the screws in the back of the upper part of the machine and checking the lines that run from the water valve to the dispenser.

Washer leaking water on floor

Hi

The water leaking on floor can be a serious issue as this may cause the inside parts to malfunction or in some cases rusting of the body. To check where exactly it is leaking; inspect the leak while it is running. After the cycle is complete quickly turn off the power, lie down the machine on left/right side and check from where the water is leaking. If it is the hose or drain pump then check whether hose is connected firmly and is not cut. If it not the hose/pump inspect if the leak is on the drum corner or anywhere on the upper side of the drum. If it is on upper side that means the drum is cracked and it is a costly affair. However, if it is leaking from the circumference then it is due to transmission seal. To replace the transmission seal you'll need to disassemble the washer and the drum assembly. Please post back in case of any issues. Hope this helps...

Amana nav5800aww water on floor after spin cycle

Sounds very similar to having something such as a sock or small article of clothing that is too large to be sucked down the drain hose into the pump. So what happens is it hangs around between the inner and outer drums and sometimes gets itself lodged over the drum drain hole, and can allow water to be centrifically flung over the top of the drum. Most times when the spin cycle stops, the article of clothing will dislodge and float around inside the drum only to do it again later....
If you can remove the top of the machine, you can usually see the gap between the two drums and use a piece of coathanger wire with a small hook on the end and "go fishing in the area between the two drums and close to the drain hole location... bet you'll find something in there... Let me know how it goes... and if I can help .. ken

Some water drains out onto the floor.

the drum seals will need to be replaced. there are seals that are used for the screws that connect the drum to the drive. they are leaking.

Washer leaking from top

Sounds like it's plugged and the water is thrown by the centrifugal force. Sometimes stuff can get between the drum and tub, plugging the drain. This can be sporadic, sometimes no problem cuz the item is away from the drain hole during extract.
Sometimes minor partial disassembly will allow you to see between the drum and tub. A pick up tool can snag things down deep.

Washer leaking water on floor

Need to check drain pump and its hose connections. If its not from the drum seal then that's usually where the leaks occur.
