Noisy and not draining

CHECK WATER PUMP AND FOR CLOGGED HOSES. THEN Using a multi meter check for continuity AT the door switch, which when bad may not allow agitation or spin. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Check the clutch, brake assembly and transmission, one way to check for slipping is to get under the machine after a spin cycle ( this is if u get a lil spin but not much leaving clothes still wet) mix in a spray bottle a lil water and some dish detergent, then spray it on the clutch assembly ( the metal round pc. Connected to the tranny) if it sizzles and steams up then u know its bad and slipping. Another way to check clutch if u get no spin at all? Is to take it out and use ur hand to try and turn the inner spring assembly pushing it around the inside? If its very easy, it BAD should be hard to push by hand. Next check the motor coupler which engages the tub and tranny to the motor. ( if its bad u usually get no wash or spin or very little of either) Next check for a loose, worn or broken belt if belt driven. On some front load models u may need to check the STATOR assembly. The stator is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the stator burns out the washer won't spin or agitate. Check the stator for continuity. This part is often misdiagnosed.

I have a Frigidaire FTF530FS washer with a problem. The Timer gets stuck in between the drain and the spin cycle. It occurs when the timer dial is about 3 o'clock. I replaced the drain pump, the do

Good Morning kvojik, thanks for your post!

From my understanding your Frigidaire front load washer is getting stuck between the drain and spin cycle. I noticed that you have replaced many components within your washer and continue to experience this issue. I would not advise to manually advance any part of the washer because this could cause issues within your washer. It could be a potential issue with the motor. At this point you may want to reach out to a technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you to avoid any further part purchases. -Matt

How do i replace the lid on a stackable washer

Good Morning Kim, thank you for your post! I see that your question is listed under a front load washer. Please help me understand if the question you are asking is related to a front load washer or top load washer; and, if you are speaking about the door? Also, do you already have the part for exchange? I would first ensure you have the appropriate part number to match your specific appliance model. If you already do, and you are having difficulty replacing this particular part, I would recommend connecting with the manufacturer to either assist with the exchange or locate a professional appliance repair tech near your area. Best regards.

Refuses to spin and will not drain

Good Afternoon Krista, I am happy to assist you. Typically, when a washer does not spin, it is because the unit cannot dispose of the water and detergent solution causing the unit to not drain properly. Does the appliance make a humming noise? If so, the drainage pump/hose may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the unit may be experiencing an issue with the control board not communicating correctly, faulty timer, pump or door lock assembly. Because it could be a number of any of various underlying possibilities, I would recommend reaching out to a professional to properly diagnose and repair the washer.
