Noisy and not draining
CHECK WATER PUMP AND FOR CLOGGED HOSES. THEN
Using a multi meter check for continuity AT the door switch, which when bad may not allow agitation or spin. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically.
Check the clutch, brake assembly and transmission, one way to check for slipping is to get under the machine after a spin cycle ( this is if u get a lil spin but not much leaving clothes still wet) mix in a spray bottle a lil water and some dish detergent, then spray it on the clutch assembly ( the metal round pc. Connected to the tranny) if it sizzles and steams up then u know its bad and slipping. Another way to check clutch if u get no spin at all? Is to take it out and use ur hand to try and turn the inner spring assembly pushing it around the inside? If its very easy, it BAD should be hard to push by hand.
Next check the motor coupler which engages the tub and tranny to the motor. ( if its bad u usually get no wash or spin or very little of either)
Next check for a loose, worn or broken belt if belt driven.
On some front load models u may need to check the STATOR assembly.
The stator is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the stator burns out the washer won't spin or agitate. Check the stator for continuity. This part is often misdiagnosed.
Ftf530es knocks during spin cycle
Good Morning Friend,
I understand that your Frigidaire washer, model# FTF530ES, is having trouble with the drum rocking back and forth, from front to back. I suggest making sure that your washer is level. I would check from front to back, side to side, as well as from corner to corner. If you have leveled your appliance and are still noticing the drum rocking from front to back I would suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this is helpful.

How do i replace the lid on a stackable washer
Good Morning Kim, thank you for your post!
I see that your question is listed under a front load washer. Please help me understand if the question you are asking is related to a front load washer or top load washer; and, if you are speaking about the door? Also, do you already have the part for exchange? I would first ensure you have the appropriate part number to match your specific appliance model. If you already do, and you are having difficulty replacing this particular part, I would recommend connecting with the manufacturer to either assist with the exchange or locate a professional appliance repair tech near your area.
Best regards.
Won't drain properly
Hi Brian ramsden,
So i understand that your washer is not draining properly even after replacing the pump. It drains without clothes but when clothes are in the appliance it will not drain. I suggest that you contact the manufacturer or you local authorized technician for more information and assistance. This way they can get to the root of what is causing your washer to not drain properly.

Broken shocks
the bearing may have failed on the tub-this may even have caused the shock to fail-the motor can't start the tub because there's to much restriction-cheers Denny

Refuses to spin and will not drain
Good Afternoon Krista, I am happy to assist you.
Typically, when a washer does not spin, it is because the
unit cannot dispose of the water and detergent solution causing the unit to not
drain properly. Does the appliance make a humming noise? If so, the drainage
pump/hose may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the unit may be
experiencing an issue with the control board not communicating correctly,
faulty timer, pump or door lock assembly. Because it could be a number of any
of various underlying possibilities, I would recommend reaching out to a
professional to properly diagnose and repair the washer.
