Check for the reset pin hole on your tablet. Get a paper clip and push it 'gently' in the hole and hold it for thirty seconds. This resets the tablet. Youdon't want to push hard as there is just a tiny button in there that can get dislodged.

There should be a rest set system button , you may have to use a small paper clip unfolded to fit into the area. But that should do it. Good luck

Do a factory reset this will remove any passwords, however it will also wipe all data pictures and so on.

Do a hard reset, press and hold the +vol button, then the power button, wait about 20 seconds both buttons held till the start android screen appears. Hope that helps

It would be cheaper to buy a new tablet than to replace the cracked screen. The damage could be further than just the screen. This could make it not unlock.

contact wherever you bought it,it will be warranteed as long as you used the proper charger and unplugged it when done charging,but,it sounds to me that you might of used the wrong charger

Screen or outside measurements? Strange question. Why not just get a ruler?

This tablet is absolutely junk. Just throw it in the trash can.(don't forget to reset it to wipe everything off) And please don't give it to anyone, you might be sued....Haha.... Paul H

Not being able to update any apps simply means either you don't have access to the internet or that your apps update is programmed to function ONLY when you are connected to/through WiFi. second, you can download standalone 'raw' apk files online and install on your tab. Remember to go into your Settings---Security (and under Device administration, check 'Unknown sources' and activate 'allow installation of apps from unknown sources'. Done. This is safe. try holding power button and vol up at same time until screen comes on

I have had the same issue with this tablet. After weeks of looking around on the net i have found a way to reset the tablet to factory settings when the power and vol down button will not work. 1. Download the firmware from the proscan website. http://www.proscanvideo.com/item.asp?itemnmbr=PLT8235G. 2. unzip the file and copy the files update.zip recovery.img and factory_update_param.aml to an external micro sd card. 3. Plug the tablet in and insert the sd card. Press the power button to see the battery icon then press the power button 5 times. Then let it run for 4 minutes and it should be set back to factory settings. ****NOTE***** If it fails to update then you still have the access to the recovery menu where you can do the factory wipe and still reset it. Hope this helps.

Someone inputted a security code at some point, no other explanation, of course you are now stuck, you will need to perform a factory reset to overcome this problem.
