My pages are scanning in landscape instead of portrait.

Used to scan perfect; suddenly is scanning sideways and I no longer get get dialog window to STOP scanning. I'm getting a SCAN panel.

At start get into settings and change to Portrait. (If you are not able to get into settings, uninstall CP3, restart the Comp and reinstall the software.) You can easily rotate the output and get the desired size in portrait.

Click landscape in print dialog box but only turns portrait sideways

Landscape is Portrait sideways :>D

Normally you have to tell the program (Quickbooks) to print Landscape and then you tell the Printer in Properties to print Landscape.

I just had the same in Publisher to a Canon MFP MG1720.

From the QuickBooks File menu, select Printer Setup. Click the Form Name drop-down and choose Report. Click the Options button next to the Printer name field to open your printer properties window. Go to the Finishing tab and in the Orientation section, select Portrait or Landscape.

Save QuickBooks Desktop PDF in legal size, landscape, or ...

Epson scanner gts50 orientation is set to portrait but scans landscape

It may show as landscape on the screen but printer properties will have to be set to landscape if you want to print that way, the rotation is not automatically controlled.

How can I print sideways?

Instead of hitting PRINT, there should be an option listed as PRINTER SETTINGS or better yet, PREVIEW. You should see an option for landscape or portrait and various other settings! Hope this helps! :-)

Print result sideways

It sounds like your printer is set to print landscape, instead of portrait mode. Next time you want to print, click on file(top left of screen), then print (don't just click on the little printer icon). This will open a new printer window where you can choose different setting. The option to change from landscape to portrait will be listed somewhere in that window. Once you have selected that feature and print it will stay that way unless you change it. You will have to check this setting in each computer program you use.
