The printer prints the paper

As the following paper may cause problems in the printer, do not use them:

- Thick paper: Paper heavier than 105 gm2 (28 lb) (corrugated paper, etc.)

- Thin paper: Paper lighter than 64 gm2 (17 lb) (tracing paper, thin letter paper, etc.)

- Paper with no rigidity

- Folded, wrinkled, or torn paper

- Wet or soiled paper

- Paper smaller than 54 mm (W) x 86 mm (H) (2.13" x 3.39") (sheet feeder)

- Paper smaller than 89 mm (W) x 127 mm (H) (3.50" x 5.00") (cassette)

- Non-rectangular paper

- Paper with adhesives

- Paper with holes (However, loose leaf can be used in the sheet feeder only.)

- Paper in bound form (such as a notebook)

- Photo postcards or postcard with image seals

- Non-empty envelopes

- Envelopes with double flaps or flaps with adhesive

- Embossed or coated paper, post cards, and envelopes

- Newspaper, flyers, tissue paper, etc.

- Media other than paper, such as cloth and plastic

- Folded reply post cards

E5 and 2,114,0 errors on Canon MP160

I got this Error 2,114,0 with my MP210 and none of the above fixes worked. This is how I have got it working again: Press and hold the maintenance (picure of spanner and screw driver) button and the reset button ( Inverted red triangle) together for five seconds or more. The flashing error code 1 and 6 will then stop flashing and replaced by a print copy no 1. The printer/scanner is reset and the scanner works.

Scanning error - cannot scan error code 2,155,0 ???

I had the same problem, at first I thought that it was the original drivers (the ones I got with the printer) so I donwloaded the drivers from the canon website, this did not resolve the problem. What I also tried and it worked for me was connecting the printer to the computer with it's original usb cable. I bought a couple of weekes ago a usb extension cable (about 5 m long). With this extension cable I can print but I can't scan any document, it just gives me the same error. Hope this works also for you.

Scaner eror code 2,250,0

I had this problem on Canon MB5120 after Win 10 update. Solved by:
Open Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features
Uninstall Canon IJ Scan Utility
Close Control Panel
Download and install the latest drivers for the printer from Canon's website
Turn off the printer, then back on.
Launch the Canon IJ Scan Utility
You should now be able to scan using the controls on your printer
Best to pin Canon IJ Scan Utility to your start menu so you don't have to remember to launch it each time you reboot.

Canon PIXMA MP160 showing paper jam, but none

just recently had these problems
symptoms:
LED flashing E3 code and alarm light was solid. But dissapeared when opened the coved and came back on when closed the cover.
Also the when the cover was open the inks did not slide out to the left and stayed to the right side.
There was no paper jam, but error said paper jam.

Solution:
1. I took a thick piece of paper, from like a paper folder ones, thick enough to go in the printer and not curl up when pushed..
2. turned off the printer and turned it back on.
3, while printer was turning on,and makings sound as it does normally when turning on, I pushed through the piece of paper and the rotors stoped for a millisecond.
4.the rotors started again and pushed out the paper by it self with out my force.
5. I let the printer get started. and then turned it off and then on.
6. this solved all of my problems.
this was the first problem ever with this printer in 3 years.,preety good printer.

Firstly, it might be important to note that the waste ink absorber is a little pad that sits under the cartridge's "home" position and collects any loose ink that may be on the cartridge. This prevents smudges, so it's a good thing to have. Many ink jet printers have them, but as far as I know, only Canon PIXMA printers display an error when a certain internal counter suggests that the ink absorber may be full. If you've done a lot of printing, the ink absorber may actually be full and you might need to have it cleaned or replaced to ensure the best printing quality. However, if you haven't printed that much or you have and you just need to print something right this minute, there is a way to reset the counter and stop the error from showing up again. Until the counter reaches a certain unknown point, that is, in which case you'll have to repeat the procedure.

1. Turn off printer.
2. retaining button Resume/Cancel press button POWER - indicator it will catch fire by green color.
3. let go button Resume/Cancel, continuing to retain POWER.
4. press button Resume/Cancel of 2 times, retaining POWER, after which let go all buttons.
5. when indicator will be lit BY GREEN - press button Resume/Cancel of 4 times!!!
6. turn off printer by button POWER.
It is undertaken from service manuala.

My canon pixma mx 452 is not printing straight

I have the exact same issue with my Canon Pixma MG3650 Series, It will not print a straight line at all its doing zig-zags all the way down the paper it's crazy I recommend you print this picture below to make sure that your printer is not faulty

If it prints it Wonky or anything I recommend you open your cartridge tray & use a tissue to wipe off excess ink.

MP160 canon printer. Flashes "E" then "4" then "2" on screen

This error means that you have scaner trouble, most likely the scaner is stucked, or the main logic pcb is faulty.
Try to remove copy glass and manually walk the scaner few times and put him in left position, grease it.
If doesnt help, the best way is to buy new printer.Logic board is too expensive for repair.
