Where is the battery location in 2009 Pontiac G5

Really? The main, huge battery that weighs about 40 lbs? It may have a removable cover on it. Try the engine compartment and look for the thickest wires.

Does anyone know what the engine code P2431 means for a pontiac G5

this refers to secondary air flow from the air system that supplies pumped air into the exhaust to help the catalyst to better burn exhaust gases for emissions. this needs to be taken to a shop as a scan tool needs to be used in diagnosis before replacing components.

Cruise control doesn't work in 2010 pontiac g5

Tricky. If you're unfamiliar with the operation of GM cruise control systems, refer to a qualified GM technician. Things you can try:
  1. Lubricate the actuator switch;
  2. Lubricate the brake switch (yes, the brake switch is in the circuit);
  3. Lubricate all actuator switches for the cruise control system at the steering wheel;
  4. Check for vacuum leaks, damaged vacuum lines, or other visible problems around the cruise control servo (under the hood).
  5. If your vehicle is equipped with a TRIP COMPUTER, and the trip computer is not updating mileage, replace the SPEED SENSOR.

Why aren't my middle air vents aren't blowing any air? Mode Door?

If doing it on your own, the mode doors are probably just stuck due to not being used much. if you can get to it by hand or maybe a long flat head screw driver you could probably get it unstuck to where it opens and closes when needed. good luck

Car wont blow hot air heater

all cars... (otto cycle petrol /gasoline)hot Air comes from hot water , in the engine,so the first check is that the coolant does hit 180F and hold.if not the thermostat in the engine is toast.ok 180F , hot motor.next ,some cars have a water valve for the heater coil(alldata dot com, read the manual) if the valve or its dash control to it is broken then it sticks closed.other cars have no valve and they only block the core (bypass) the air to make hot and cold.that too is a control. there are 3 types used, cable, vacuum and electric. on all cars.what you have , is based on YEAR and options.the book shows how to fix this. me ,just look at the controls.if there is a cable then I make sure the cable works.The heater has what are called damper, (flaps)they open or close.and if you have A/C more. if the engines is hot. my guess, is the bypass damper is stuckin the bypass mode. (fresh air only)the best way to work on any car is RTMyou do that because these parts vary radically by year. and make.alldata dot com is the solution , under HVAC.
