Where is the remote start fuse located?

Do your power door locks work ? There is no fuse for just the remote start ! Remote vehicle start (RVS) begins as an RF message received by the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) from a keyless entry transmitter. The RVS request is sent by the RCDLR to the body control module (BCM) via serial data. The BCM monitors system conditions such as content theft deterrent (CTD), hood ajar status, and body DTCs to determine if an RVS even will occur. If conditions are determined to be acceptable, the RVS message is sent to the engine control module (ECM). The ECM monitors system conditions such as engine control parameters and vehicle theft deterrent (VTD) to determine if engine starting will be allowed. If conditions are acceptable, the ECM will initiate engine starting. During the engine run time in a RVS attempt, before the operator enters the vehicle, the ECM may discontinue engine operation if system conditions require it or a message is received from the BCM requesting the engine be turned OFF. The RVS system will not operate if any of the following conditions are present: ?€¢ A current vehicle DTC that illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL)

?€¢ The vehicle is in valet mode.

?€¢ More than 2 remote starts have been attempted.

?€¢ The hazard switch is in the ON position.

?€¢ A current hazard switch DTC is set.

?€¢ The vehicle hood is ajar.

?€¢ A current hood ajar DTC is set.

?€¢ The CTD system detects an alarm trigger.

?€¢ Excessive engine RPM

?€¢ Excessive coolant temperature

?€¢ Accelerator pedal position greater than 0 percent

?€¢ Vehicle not in Park

?€¢ Vehicle theft deterrent malfunction

?€¢ A current automatic transmission shift lock control system DRC is set.

?€¢ A vehicle speed sensor signal is detected by the ECM.

Have a 2007 Pontiac G5 and need to add power steering fluid.

its tricky. its behind the engine. If you pop the hood and you go to the left side, look behind the block and it chould be about half way down or so. You should see the cap for it. I think that was a horrible idea on pontiacs part. Happy motoring!

I have a Pontiac G5 2008 2.2 i have a Check

Do you know how to test electrical circuit's with a volt meter ? Power an grounds and control for the coil #3 cylinder ,plus fuel injector ? If you don't know how to do automotive electrical circuit testing ,your best bet would be to take it to a qualified repair shop. The coil is computer controlled , pull it an see if you see or hear it sparking . Is the fuel injector firing. ? Videos on youtube showing how to test. Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? Free one's here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year ,make , model and engine . Under system click on engine then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button then the blue link. Scroll down to diagram # 6 . Coil circuits . Pink with black trace - B+ voltage , black is ground , brown is signal ground in the PCM - computer . orange with white trace is coil trigger signal from the PCM . Diagram #9 is fuel injector electrical circuits . Test power and grounds . You probably have a bad coil or injector ,wiring issue , or a bad driver inside the PCM . If the PCM needs to be replaced it will need programming , dealer only . How to test computer transistor driver without scan tool

Braking vibration 45-50mph

Did you say resurfacing? If you did resurface the rotors they will become out of parallel (warp) easier as they are now thinner. .Are you using a #1 quality rotor or a slag steel (china) type? The front brakes take a lot of heat and the only rotor placed on the front should be a premium #1 quality steel rotor and will cost at least $100 each. I would check the hub surfaces for run out, install a QUALITY set of rotors, not just a cheap set that say premium on the box and I would also make sure the tires are dynamically balanced. Then drive away with smooth braking that lasts. With any shake in the brakes don't forget whats happening in the rear also.

2007 Pontiac G5 radio display is dead

Based on the information that you have provided. There's a possibility that there is a loose wire/connection possibly in the back of the radio. You would probably have to access the back of the radio and check the wiring harness.

How do i remove the rear tail light bulb on a G-5 pontiac

You have a combination of nuts and screws to remove the taillight assembly. Type in " e-bay " to your computer and type in the taillight you want, and you will see pictures of them for sale. I did, and found: 1) 2 screws under/ or alongside the rubber seal that is at the trunk lid opening, and 2) 2 or may be 3 nuts on studs that extend inside the trunk. Once all these are removed, you will access the bulbs. God bless your efforts.
