I have a Jandy AE 2000T, serial L07AA0105. When I turn on the power with pool pump running, all I get is "Universal Controller UI FW Rev: 1.7" on the controller screen. No response from cont. button

The "Rev:1.7" is the software on the board indicating the board has power however you may need to replace the board if you can not boot beyond the firm ware screen.

RS4 aux3 and aux4 pulse relay instead of solid voltage.

You or some one else may have assigned the AUX 3,4 to "dimmer" in system settings. Check the setting and make sure it is not set for color lights as well.

After a power failure, the color wheel menu is completely missing from my Aqualink RS one touch controller, and none of the Aux buttons turn them on.

If that is the only thing wrong after the PF then you might want to try to clear data and reprogram the system.

I have a Jandy lite 2 J325NB. The unit will start up and run then shut off with controller display frozen. Do I need a new controller?

You may only need a defrost sensor. Unfortunately the issue you are having can also be caused by low refrigerant and or a bad board. If your unit has a TXV valve that has stopped working properly you could develop this issue aswell. Make sure the fan is operating normally and your evap coil is clean. I would start with the sensor first and if it turns out to be good then call an HVAC pro, otherwise you could spend a lot of money trying to fix the wrong problem.

The pump came on this morning all by itself; it wasn't programmed to come on, I didn't turn it on, & the temperature is in the 50s.

some automation systems are equiped with a frost protect. when the temperature drops below a preset temperature, the system starts to circulate water so that nothing freezes up.

Whistling noise after 5 minutes of heating. Heater is less than 3 months old! What can be the cause?? New gas line, 1.5" as recommended.

I had the same problem. It was the gas valve whistling. try closing the gas shut off to the unit just slightly until the whistling stops. The heater should remain lit and functioning.

The remote will turn on but cant use any buttons

out on the control box, there is a service button. when your service guy is working on the pool, it should be on either 'service' or 'timeout'. in either of these modes, your remotes will not work and the timers are disabled. go to control box and set the system to 'run'

I have the FL4 error code. Replaced igniter and checked the fuses. Still doesn't light

FL4 is related to the flow in your heater, you need to check first if you filters are too dirty, remove then reset breaker and try again if it go away it was your filter being too dirty, if it doesnt it is most likely the PressureSwitch on your heater.

Jandy lite 2. How do I correct an fl 5 error?

FL5 is related to input voltage. You state that the voltages check out. Service code FL5, "brown-out condition exists", will reset after the condition has been resolved. However, the reset may take up to 3 minutes. The LJ controller checks the power supply voltage every 3 minutes. If the supply voltage drops below 85% of the nominal supply voltage, the display will show the FL5 service code and the heater will not start the ignition sequence. The controller will check the supply voltage again 3 minutes later. If the low voltage condition still exists the FL5 service code will remain. If the actual supply voltage is above 85% of the nominal supply voltage, the service code will clear automatically from the display and the heater will resume normal operation. If the heater was in either 'POOL' or 'SPA' mode when the brown-out condition was detected, it will remain in that mode when the condition is resolved. If the water temperature is less than the thermostat setting, the ignition sequence will start automatically and the heater will operate normally.
