You may have a problem with the water heater.

To resolve, Two time, I poor one galon of boiling water at start and the second after the rince cycle, Yes it is time consuming but cheaper than having my old dishwasher to be repair,
Hello Tammy, I appreciate your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire dishwasher has no power. You may need to review your circuit breaker located inside of your home to assure that the breaker has not been flipped. If the breaker is operating properly it could be a possible issue with your control panel or wiring. I would recommend having a professional out to your home to assure a proper diagnosis has been completed on your dishwasher. I hope that this information is helpful to your dishwasher repair. -Matt
Good Morning Garthraie, thanks for your post!
I see that the door on your Frigidaire dishwasher appears to be locked and will not close. Could you please advise if the control panel has any lights lit up on it? Also, may I have the model number of your dishwasher? You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside left hand wall of your dishwasher. With this additional information I would be able to assist you further. -Matt
Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
From the information you have provided you would like to place your Frigidaire dishwasher into a diagnostic mode. I have reviewed the dishwasher and do not show a diagnostic mode available. Based off the information you have provided you may be experiencing an issue with your timer or knob. I would suggest performing a factory reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by flipping the breaker off for at least ten minutes. Since it could be an issue with either electrical components you may need to seek guidance from a professional technician. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
Hello Roberta, I appreciate your submission!
Based off the information you have provided me your Frigidaire dishwasher is displaying an error code of "I30". Error code "I30" means you could be experiencing an issue within the aqua control, which means it could be your water valve, water line, or control panel. You may need to reach out to your manufacturer for additional assistance. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Hello Megan Quintas,
I have had the bottoms of the Frigidaire DISHWASHER rotted out AND their center-shaft NEVER LOST IT'S vertical alignment...
So my personal opinion...
You are good once you replace your defective spray arm..
Put your model+make+spray+arm
or better yet the ORIGINAL PART NUMBER to get three estimates...
Good luck, happy hunting!!

Hey Gary, thank you for your inquiry!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher fills with water and then the motor will not run to complete the cycle. This could be an issue within the control panel or motor of the dishwasher. Which lights are flashing on the control panel of the dishwasher? Can you provide me with your model number as well? Once I have that additional information I would be able to assist you. -Matt
Child Lock Controls
To prevent children from accidently changing the
dishwasher cycle or starting the dishwasher, lock the
dishwasher controls by pressing and releasing the RINSE
ONLY pad (some models) or the NO HEAT DRY pad (some
models) for 3 seconds while the door is latched. An
indicator light on the lock graphic pad will illuminate when
the controls are locked and no new selections can be made
until the lock is released. To unlock the controls, press the
same pad, RINSE ONLY or NO HEAT DRY, again for 2
seoncds until the indicator light goes out.
Hope this helps?
Try using a liquid dishwasher detergent.
Also, if you are using dry detergent (that is not pre-measured in pods, etc.), you may be overfilling the detergent dispenser. When the dry detergent gets wet, it swells and causes the detergent dispenser door to stick.

Good Afternoon Billy, thanks for your submission!
I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher, FFBD2406NS, is receiving power but no lights work once the door has been closed and locked. There could be an issue within a wiring harness, door lock, or control panel. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would suggest having a professional technician to perform a proper diagnosis. This will prevent you from purchasing any unnecessary parts. Hopefully this information is helpful towards your repair. -Matt
Look just inside the dishwasher....ususally just outside the rubber seal that the door seals against....mine is on the left side of the vertical wall.....white sticker
Good Afternoon David, thank you for your post!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher is displaying an error code of "iC0" and you need help to reset it. The best way to reset the dishwasher is to disconnect power from it for at least ten minutes. An error code of "iC0" means that the dishwasher has detected a problem with the electronic control. You can also press and hold the cancel button for five seconds to see if that will clear the code out. If these steps do not help resolve your issue I would recommend contacting a professional technician. You can visit your manufacturer's website for assistance in locating a technician. Good luck! -Matt
Try the micro switch which is located on top of the door handle. Make sure it's not wet and has current going through. Otherwise it's the capacitor which is connected to the motor. They are cylinder shaped normally and feed the motor in order to start the cycle. Easy to replace and relatively cheap but make sure it's the same size when replacing. There's a number on the front and mF next to it. Hope this helps
Good Morning Chloe, thank you for your inquiry!
Based off the information you have provided me your Frigidaire dishwasher did not finish the cycle and the heat dry light will not turn off. This sounds like there could be a miscommunication within the control panel of the dishwasher. I would suggest performing a reset to help clear out this issue and you can do that by disconnecting power from the dishwasher for at least ten minutes. If the reset does not help it could be a possible problem within the panel or a wiring harness. Best of luck! -Matt
Hello friend, thank you for your post!
From what you have described the spring from the latch is broken inside of the door and you are unable to close your Frigidaire dishwasher. You would need to disassemble the dishwasher in order to replace the latch or spring. This needs to be done by a professional technician as improper disassembly could results in personal injury. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
