My Frigidaire FFSH2311LB is flashing H1 Why? It is only 3 months old.

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator is flashing an error code of H1. This code can stand for a high temperature within your refrigerator. I would recommend performing a reset and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for at least ten minutes. If that does not correct your issue you may need to reach out to your manufacturer for any warranty coverage. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

Why does my dishwasher most of the time not desovle the dish soap

make sure when you load it that nothing is stopping the soap door from opening all the way,, most common mistake is loading a cutting board or tray in the front of the lower rack

Dishwasher does not drain

Dishwashers do not drain the water has to be pumped out of them.If the water is not being pumped out on any cycle then the pump has failed and you either need to replace the water pump (which will be quite expensive) or buy a new dish washer. Pump failure is a pretty common in part because of the amount of debris many users don't rinse from items before placing them in the washer. Also the filters at the base of the washer need to be removed and cleaned frequently and this is often neglected. If the water is only remaining in the washer for the final rinse cycle but is otherwise being pumped out on the wash cycles, then the issue will be with the electronic control board.

When you set cycle buttons and you hit start button lights go off.and machine wonn't try to start. But if you hit start the drain cmes on and runs even with no water in tub and stays running.?

Hello Vernon, thank you for your post!

From my understanding your Frigidaire dishwasher will not start after the cycle has been selected. This could be a potential issue with your keypad or control panel and I would recommend performing a reset. You can reset your dishwasher by flipping the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If the reset does not help correct your issue you may need to have an electrical component replaced. I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and this can help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

I need to know what the error code pf means for a frigidaire gallery model #fgh202465nf1a

Hey Carol, I understand that you are receiving an "PF" error message on your Frigidaire Dishwasher. Typically this error code indicates a power failure. Before considering contacting a service provider, I would recommend resetting the dishwasher by turning off the power to the appliance for about five minutes. After the five minutes return power to the appliance, this should allow the appliance to return to working condition. At this time if you find the problem still persists, you may want to consider contacting a professional technician. The concern could be the control board. Hope this helps! -JK

Glasses are not coming out clean.

dishwashers that don't clean dishes , 1st is the water filter/pump inlet strainer clean ? 2nd are you adding the correct type of soap in the dispenser an not just in the bottom before you turn it on ? 3rd are all the spray arms free to move and the holes are not blocked off ? if all these are correct then id look at pump impeller its inside the pump in the bottom , the blades may have worn down over time

The rinse aid dispenser is not adding any rinse aid. how do I unclog it so my drinking glasses don't come out feeling like they have sand all over them.

Good Morning friend, thank you for your post! I see that you are having an issue with your rinse aid dispenser not adding rinse aid into your Frigidaire dishwasher. You may need to run hot water into your dispenser to help clear out any dirt or clogs within your dispenser. If that does not help I would recommend making sure the water temperature inside your dishwasher is at 120 degrees. If the water is not at the correct temperature it will not allow proper dispensing of the rinse aid. You may also want to check the filter at the bottom of your dishwasher to assure that it has been cleaned out and is not distributing dirt or debris inside of your dishwasher. I would also recommend checking the spray arms to make sure they are not dirty and spray water evenly. You can clean them out using a pipe cleaner. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

My dishwasher will not drain completely

Most likely, the drain pump is clogged or the filter for the main pump is clogged with goo. If, during the drain cycle, water is just "peeing" into the drain line or sink drain, something is clogged. Broken glass, food, bones, etc., can find a way into the main pump mech or into the drain pump. You didn't specify what model washer you have but check the round removable filter found in a lot of Frigidaire dishwashers. Yours could be square, rectangular, etc. Get the users manual if you need help finding out how to clean the filter! Remember, if water can't move freely through the filter, your washer won't spray strongly either. Also, dishwashers will not drain out every drop of water--they will drain past where you can see the water but there will always be a small puddle of water in the motor. This keeps the seals moist and prevents dry-rotting, cracking and leaking.

Fridgedaire Dishwasher won't run, after selecting a wash cycle. Control panel keeps failing. What to try next?

Did either of those parts come with the wire harness that connects the unit control to the main board? If not I would get a meter and check each wire on the cable and when you find an open wire then you replace the cable.

Soap door opens during cycle, but soap does not dispense??

Hello Eric, thank you for your post!

I understand that the dispenser on your Frigidaire dishwasher opens but the soap is not dispensing into your dishwasher. How old is your dishwasher soap? If it is around a year old you may need to discard it and use a new soap. Also check to make sure when you stack dishes that they are not obstructing the arms from reaching the dispenser. Make sure your spray arms are clear of any debris that could block the distribution of water inside of your dishwasher. You may need to connect with a professional technician for proper repairs if these steps do not correct your issues. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Water pressure to upper arm is inconsistent, sometimes enough to spin the arm and sometimes just trickles thru. Arm is clean, aligned.

Hello N, thanks for your post! I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher does not have consistent water pressure through your spray arm. If the arm is clean it could be an issue with your water pressure or possible spray arm. You may need to verify your water pressure to assure it is between 20-120 PSI. If your water pressure is correct you may need to seek assistance from a professional technician to help avoid any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
