The battery detection software in WINDOWS could be having a problem, meaning it works but windows just can't monitor battery status. When you unplug the power cable does the computer stay on?r Try re-installing Acer Empowering Technology Frameworks and Epower management programs in the past I've seen acers that require this to properly monitor the battery.

You can use windows password buster to reset the password. See: How to Reset Windows Password?

It seems someone did a Dual Partition which divided the space on the hard drive into two individual section like a "C" drive and "D" drive. As a rule when Windows is installed the main partition is "C" and a very small partition is "D" where the operating system "Repair" is stored in the event "C" is affected. TWO ways to fix the problem: If you can locate a program called Power Suite 2009 or 2010 distributed by a company called SpotMau; this is a Utility program the seeks Passwords and it can clear them out automatically. I have one, and it can be duplicated if you wish to wait a week to fix the problem. Just pay for the CD/DVD and shipping. OR you can refresh the hard drive. It will need to be Re-partitioned so Drive "C" is the main section with 90% of the space dedicated to the main drive and a small 10% left for the reserve data. Reinstalling Windows rom scratch may do the trick, but it is not a given at this point. In short; a new drive should not be manually partitioned unless the user is seeking to have TWO separate drives and two operating systems on the same hardware. Right in that case it becomes quite difficult. Some bios chips are able to be reset (including password) by removing the CMOS battery, (small round button battery on the mainboard). If this doesn't work. Then the bios chip itself would have to be replaced. It may be possible to hard reset the chip by shorting certain pins but that is a big risk.

You need to temporarily remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard to reset the password.

run the diagnostics of battery frm bios.. u ll find the diagnostics option wen u restart the laptop.!! if that doesn't work thn contact the acer technical support for further help. if u have the warranty of the product thn surely thy can replace with a new battery. if more thn 1 yrs had gone frm the purchase of the laptop thn remember the warranty of the battery is not valid. only the product warranty is valid

INSTALL THE PROGRAM RUN THE SETTING BUTTONS AND FROM THERE SET THE ALL THING UP

It is possible that the software for the Magicjack needs re-installing or it is faulty, another possibility is the notebook needs to be recovered to factory settings which can be found under Acer in all programs. Obviously be aware that all data needs to be backed up before trying the recovery option.

Check to make sure that the Bluetooth driver is installed. What are you trying to connect?

do a full factory restore. you have too many malware installed. see those toolbars? each one is bad news.
