Cannot connect to the internet.
If your using wireless, make sure your wireless adapter is on. Look on the F1, F2, F3, (etc.) keys. Find a little icon that looks like a cell tower. Press FN and that key and your wireless adapter will be activated and you should be able to connect to wifi. Other advice, make sure your LAN is active, too. I'm not specifically sure how to do this, it depends on the operating system, and I just plainly don't know. Anyway, if none of this works, go to Acer's website and download the Wireless LAN drivers. You can install them and restart the computer, it should work. Good Luck!
Not connect wireless internet
Most likely your wireless NIC card is faulty and needs to be replaced. If you replace it and it doesn't work then that is a result of your motherboard not reconizing it and you might have to send it back the manufacturer to let them have a look at it.

Replace an Acer Extensa CMOS Battery
CMOS batteries allow you to store basic settings on your
laptop.
If you notice certain features on your computer do not
operate correctly, such as the computer clock, you may have to replace your
CMOS battery.
This battery sits on the interior portion of your machine
and measures about the size of a dime.
If you have a screw driver and know how to work with your
hands, you can replace the CMOS battery on your Acer Extensa computer.
Open the screen of your laptop until you can view your keyboard clearly.
Find the bar that consists of plastic on the upper portion
of your keyboard.
Place your screwdriver on one end of this bar
and slowly ease it up until you can grab its edge with your finger.
Pull the opposite side of the bar in the upward direction
with your screwdriver.
Then, ease out the whole bar.
Take out the screws on the side portion of your keyboard.
Pull your laptop keyboard upward and put it on a
soft surface such as a bed or pillow.
Take out the four screws from the steel plate, which
covers the motherboard of your computer, and take off this plate.
This allows you to view the CMOS battery, which
sits on the lower right portion of your motherboard.
Pull the CMOS battery up from the motherboard and take it
off.
Insert a new CMOS battery, which you can buy at
a local computer store.
Put the parts of your computer back in the same
manner as you took them off.

Acer extensa 5620 notebook dvd-cd rom doesn't read
go to device manager under System Properties. Locate DVD/CD Drives, expand it, select your drive, right click and then left click on properties, select the General tab and check the state of the device IT SHOULD indicate the device is working properly, if so or if not, select the Driver tab unomstall the driver, reboot, see if Windows will reinstall the driver as it should recognize the device as a new drive. If not return to the device manager and reinstall the driver.
How to open Wifi at acer extensa 5620-4020 ?
- Move the Wi-Fi switch to the "On" position. Not all models have this switch.
- Open the Windows Start menu and select "Connect To." A list of available connections will appear.
- Select "All" from the drop-down menu to view all available networks and connections within range.

Broken my laptop casing
Try buying a case on ebay. Does everything work except the case is broken? Which case? Bottom case or the LCD Screen Lid case?
