go into bios by hittin F10 when it starts up go to diag and run a test on hard drive to see if its bad. tell me if it passes bc if its good there are a couple of other things it could be.

you have to be more spacific on what you are doing and what os you are using. Are you using Windows 7 or Vista. If you are using vista, Dont. upgrade to windows 7, it's worth it. but everything else aside, try different ways of installing the updates. you can download the updates manually and install them other then just letting automatic updates do everything.

Then you have uninstalled the wrong programmes (they wouldn't take up that much space anyway) Go to the Acer site and download the software for your lappy and reinstall.

sounds like your lcd inverter is going bad. If you check e-bay for your model computer, you should be able to find a new/used inverter for under $25.00

There is a hardware issue... Could be ram if so you can fix yourself.
Take out one piece of ram at the bottom of the unit... If the problem still occurs then take out that ram and put the other piece back in and see where that leads you

re seat the memory cards, clean them if necessary with pencil eraser (the metal connector on mem card), if it won't work, you might need to replace them with the new ones

Hi, Click on the start menu and then Control Panel. In control panel click on either regional and language options or clock, language and regions. Once in there you can set the default keyboard language or display language. Regards.

insert the OS dvd/cd and you will be able to fix it

what you have to do is go back to google and type in facebook again then login again and go back on to it until it works i have same problem in internet explorer other wise use mozilla firefox.

First turn your laptop over and locate all screws.
un-tight all the screws and carefully separate the laptop in two halfs
becareful not to break the screen in the process.

Are you sure that you mean "1995", and not "2005? If it's from 1995 then there's not really any value to it. If it's from 2005, then you may be able to get between $200-$300 for it. Don't expect to get more than $100-$150 if you take it to a computer shop to sell it.

Easiest way that may resolve it for you is if you go into the system configuration utility (Start menu then type "system configuration" in the search bar) and the choose the boot tab and then to advanced options.
There you will see at the top two boxes that you can check one is processor and the other is memory. If you check both of these and choose one processor and then the max amount of memory that is on your system. Hit apply and ok. Restart your system and it should work ok in both 2d and 3d mode.
If not it could also be a memory error on your Laptop. Try swapping modules with another laptop, or remove one module at a time.
