The pressure setting on your pressure switch has went out of calibration causing the machine to overfill. If you take the lid off by removing the 2 screws at the rear and sliding it back the pressure switch is underneath on the left. Try unscrewing the larger screw in the middle anti-clockwise 1 full turn i.e. 360 degrees and try a wash. If it still does it the try 1 more turn. If it still happens then you will need to replace the switch. Hope this helps.

My Kenmore series 80 washing machine will not automatically do the drain, rinse & spin cycle.

Hi,

please rotate your cycle dial in the opposite direction of its usual motion by 90 degrees (probably counter clockwise). Then you can run the cycle again and the drain/spin/rinse should work. Otherwise, please power cycle your washing machine.

Thank you.

The soap powder in my washing machine is not getting dissolved. This is a front load A07-16 electronic model.

This will be due to one of three causes.
  1. You are using an incompatible wash powder for your machine. If you're in India (the WM A 0716 was an India-only model) then some of the cheapest domestic brands are really poor quality and some of the established major brands are counterfeit products.
  2. Most powders contain some insoluble components which should be rinsed out, so the rinse cycles are not working correctly. This can happen if the wash load is too big for the machine and fails to allow space for the rinse water to circulate, otherwise it's likely a machine fault.
  3. The wash cycle is too cold. You have either selected too low a temperature or the machine has a failed heating element.
If the machine is faulty then you will need to contact Siemens for repair.

Leak from lower door section and from powder door thing.

This could be a partially or completely seized/failed pump.
Before a machine goes in to a spin cycle, it runs the pump to empty all the water out. It used to be quite common that the machine does not check all the water has gone before spinning, it just runs the pump for a set time which if the pump is okay, is long enough to empty it.
If a spin is then started with quite a lot of water left in the drum, it gets thrown everywhere including back out of the powder/conditioner draw. Also the sheer strain of spinning a large amount of water can force water through an otherwise okay door seal.
Unless you are comfortable working on the machine yourself, call an engineer.

Machine wont go into spin cycle

The pump fiter is probably blocked.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Locate, and remove large black hose on bottom of tub.
Remove plastic filter inside, and clean.
Refit filter and hose.
Should now be o/k.
Before you do anything, lay the drain hose down into a bucket or bowl, and drain all the water out, so you do not have a flood when you remove the hose.
please rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.

WD640 Aquarious supersilent washer/dryer leaking from powder draw

during the rinse the machine uses a higher level of water, therefore check the door seal for holes,if the water is leaking from the soap drawer in the spin then this suggests that you may have a blockage in the outlet hose or in the sump filter, to check the filter remove the sump hose, the filter is hidden in the hose.
