My tip: call the service department and ask them what the problem should be. If they refuse to answer, just ask over and over and over again until somebody will finally be connected to you which has to tell you how and what. If a company can repair it, they HAVE to give at least an answer to what is broken.

Miele washers have a small panel on front toward bottom of machine. Flip this panel open with the key provided inside the soap dispenser drawer. There should be a small orange coloured ring which you pull to release the door.
To cancel program press and hold the start button for about 5 or so seconds. this should give you the option of cancelling the program.
Hope this may help

It stops because your water level sensor has detected the load point water level.
More than likely the timer mechanism or the motor is fried. You can test these using a good Volt/Ohm meter. Be sure to disconnect the power before doing anything to a washer.
Unless it's a lose connection or bad switch, it's usually more cost effective to replace the washer.

there is still water in the waterproof tray at the bottom of the machine and the float switch has activated. pull the machine out (if pipes allow) and tip the machine backwards to drain the water from the tray.

If it is a condensing dryer there is a gasket gone, or the discharge pipe the the washer drain has come adrift.

If it isn't a condenser dryer, you need it cleaning to improve the airflow. to outside, especially the vent flaps.
