It is for sure that the power supply has failed in your printer. There is a SMPS unit as the power supply to the unit. Look for failure of the fuse which could be due to the surge protector, the rectifier, the filter capacitor or the switch mode regulator/driver . You will need to check on this section for the fault. Also a short on the secondary side can also switch off the SM unit due to high error current cut off. So please check the supply to the printer main board or disconnect. If so the printer main board is defective. take help, maybe estimate and decide. hope I could help.; Good day

Some HP machines have 3 reset levels.

I do not know if the 5610 had them but it's worth a try.

Power off printer, then press and hold buttons while powering on, if it doesnn't reset, then unplug it and press and hold buttons while plugging it in, please tell us if the machine even tries to reset.

# and 3 Partial Reset

# and 6 Semi-Full Reset

# and 9 Full Reset

A Full Reset will clear any stored information in the printer, speed dials, etc, so always start with a partial reset and work your way up.

Turned off my printer and now it wont turn on

If you can't see the lights on the panel it might be the power adapter or the connection at thre printer itself
