Model KV-36fs13 I had to replace the meter box in my home. More than likely the problem is due to a power surge or sudden drop in power. The TV will not power on. When I attempt to power it on I get 13 flashing red blinks then a continuous pattern of 5 blinks. I suspect a blown power supply. How can I diagnose the problem. I am not a tech but have some limited knowledge. If I can find the board or supply that went bad could you recomend where I can get the board repaired. The TV is much too heavy to bring to a repair center. Thanks John [email protected]

Five blinks means, "IK (AKB)" (white balance). The probable causes listed by Sony are as follows:
1) Video OUT (IC561) is faulty (A board)
2) IC355 is faulty (A board)
3) Screen (G2) is improperly adjusted.
not sure what the 13 blinks are for.
