My washing machine,only on spin cycle,kicks breaker off,it does'nt kick breaker off on any other cycle?

spin not clicking in
no power to motor or its kick in solenoid

check timer or control circuit board

Hi,
The motor has lost the ability to turn the one way. when it tries to turn in that direction it cannot and draws high amps which kicks the breaker...
washer mootrs go one way for the wash but the other way for the spin...

you need to look at the start capacitor, check it with a meter, look at, and spin bearings. make sure they spin free

Don't know the model but if it is a two speed model and is clicking off and on when set for high speed spin but seems to start up and spin OK in slow speed spin, you have a bad motor

ck all motor connections just lean washer back against wall motor is right at front if motor ckd ok 2 things left motor or timer neither one is cheap but best guess would be timer

If it has a speed selection switch than this switch is likely to be bad, other than that are you sure that It once has high spin in the cycle you are using??
