Many times a freezer and/or refrigeratordo not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many otherthings that can go wrong.
If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing thencheck out the last two tips.
If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...
Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to starttrouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then callinga repair person to do a simple thing for you...
replace the rtc overload contactot located on the side of the units compressor,it is defective and not letting the compressor start and then go to run properly, its easy to install, just unplug the bad one and replace it
check and see if compressor is running it is in the rear behind the cardboard cover if it is super hot then you need to get a tech out to look at it and it may still be under warranty
I did some research online, and read that the Start Relay is most commonly the problem. My husband bought the part, (about $50) and reattached it to the side of the compressor....and was cold immediately! apparently a very common problem on these fridges.
Found a fix for my issue ... hopefully it'll help you. Up at the topleft rearmost corner of the fridge remove panel to reveal spring attached slots where cold is supplied from freezer. The spring attached had came off one end as there isn't a "slot" for the spring to hold in place (design fault?).Reattached the spring and taped on .... and hey presto fridge now working perfectly again. Hope this helps.
assuming the freezer is cold enough and that you have a valid water supply hooked up, either the icemaker is bad or the water valve is bad, best idea is to replace both.
