Drain pump isn't working properly or mystery clog

I would replace the drain pump if you are sure there are no obstructions to the water flow.

My 2006 nissan xterra is having over heat what is the cause

to many things could be the cause, this is not some thing that can be answered with out having a lot more information, could be anything from the electric fan relay bad,to a hole in the radiator, water pump out, head gasket blown, cracked head, cracked cylinder liner, too low on coolant, but a real common one in a cracked over flow tank,or no over flow tank, while your motor is running the temp will get higher while not moving, the radiator will build pressure above the the max cap pressure, and the over flow hose will deliver coolant to the over flow tank, then as the motor cools and the radiator pressure drops, then the thermostate will open and the radiator will suck the coolant back into the radiator, this will continue all day as you drive, but without an over flow tank to force coolant into,it will force it out and it will go on the ground, the when the time comes to return the coolant to the radiator,so the radiator don\'t have coolant so it will take air back into the radiator, and in no time the coolant system will be out of coolant, this is common,or there is no coolant fan,or when using the AC the electric fan isn\'t coming on,or the fan is missing the shroud, there are endless possibilitys

T02 error code 30

E30 means that the control isn't getting an electrical signal from the water pump. A clogged pump, bad pump, loose connection or a bad control board can cause this error code. The first thing you will want to do is check for a loose connection. Then make sure the pump isn't clogged. Check the pump motor with an ohmmeter and if it is open replace it. At this point the only way to tell if the control or the water pump is the problem is to run the water pump test on this page
Test for voltage at the pump during the test. If the pump is getting power but will not run, replace the water pump and if the pump isn't getting power, replace the control.

HF error on display

An FH error often means that the machine doesn't see the water coming into the machine (or that the water pressure is too low). If the water has been flowing into the washer for 8 minutes, then the pressure switch is faulty. (The unit shuts off the water flow and gives the error to avoid flooding.) Press Pause/Cancel Twice.

If there was no water to the machine, check that the inlet water valves are open. Check the inlet hose filters for clogs and that the hoses aren't kinked. You may want to change your water hoses in case they sealed themselves against leaks. Also check your incoming water pressure.

If there was water in the washer, check that the drain pump is functioning (and that nothing is clogging the pump filter/coin catcher). Also check that the discharge hose isn't positioned lower than the water level in the washer. This will cause a siphon problem where the water will flow in and out of the washer continuously.

Disconnect the washer from the power and make sure that all of the wiring for the inlet valves, pressure switch, drain pump and flow valve have no breaks in them. Make sure that the inlet and outlet hoses inside the washer are not leaking. (The connection between the hose and the drain pump and the hoses to the washer tub can leak.)

After this set of tests, reconnect the power and check the pressure switch, the flow meter and the CCU (main control board). Replace any faulty part.

You may want to consult a repair person for some of these tests and repairs. If the washer is under warranty, get the unit serviced if the problem isn't in the hoses.

I hope this helps.

My pool filter pump will not self-prime after I change the filter.

Make sure the pump pot has enough water in it to make the pump **** the water up the suction line.there isn't anything clogging the suction line? Make sure there isn't anything restricting the flow of water to the suction

Filter light keeps coming on but filter in end of door frame clean

Do you use dryer sheets? If you do, they leave a residue on the filter screen that will block air flow.

To check if that is the problem - Take the filter screen to a sink and run water over it. If the water runs through like it isn't even there then that is NOT the problem! But if pools even a little take a soft bristled brush and clean it until water passes through freely.

When my LG is washing sometimes the FE codes comes up, what does this mean? How can I fix this issue?

Hi,

This means that the washer is overflowing. This is a built in fault that turns on the drain pump so that the water doesn't get so high that it gets into the floor. If water is continually flowing into the washer you will get this problem. If this is the case the water valve is most likely the problem. To confirm unplug the washer and if the water doesn't stop flowing into the washer the water valve is the problem.

If water isn't continually running into the washer then the problem can be the water level control.

Replace cooling fan termstat and vehicle still over heats

Thermostat

Test thermostat in a jug and pour boiling water on it , it should compress meaning it works. Check that the waterpunp is operating pushing water into the engine .Check that radiator water flows to the watrpump. Is tension of fanbelt of waterpump sufficient that it doenst slip. Lastly check that the radiator fan is working if has a electric fan. if this doesn’t help check if radiator or engine water passages isn’t blocked.
