I understand you want to make sure that if you are away, and your Frigidaire refrigerator is in Sabbath mode, and there is a power failure, will your food spoil or will your appliance return to normal operation. Typically, your refrigerator should return to normal operation, in Sabbath mode. I kindly ask that you provide me with the model number of your refrigerator. Check for two things. Look under the refrigerator and make sure the compressor fan is turning.
Second, check inside the freezer for proper operation of the fan that moves cool air throughout the freezer and refrigerator. If this fan is working, you can probably hear it. It should be behind an access plate in the freezer (near the top). Remove the plate and look at the fan. If it's not turning, you will have to replace the fan motor.

If the control will not change and the lock is lit, first try unlocking it. Press and hold the lock tab for 3 seconds. If nothing happens, try unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds and reconnect it. This will reset the board.
