I place my flashdrive in my usport but I dont see an "F" drive anywhere. What happened?

Just plug it in a USB port. Use Explorer to explore the drive. Locate the files you want to transfer to the computer. .Drag and drop it on the desktop or anywhere else. You can also use CTRL Copy, followed by CTRL V to paste at the location you select.

format it using a low level format, and then just recover your data using a third party software recovery tool.

It is not completely clear if you mean large PC games or if you mean small PC games.

By small PC games I mean games similar to the games that come with Windows and that appear in the 'All Programs -> Games' folder. Such as 'Free Cell', 'Hearts' or 'Solitaire'.

By large games I mean games like 'World of Warcraft' or 'Mortal Combat'.

Also, do you want to install the games on your Flashdrive or store them there?

If you want to store a large game on your flash drive. Place the CD/DVD with the game on it in your CD/DVD drive and insert your Flashdrive in a USB port.

Open 'WIndows Explorer' or 'My Computer'. Locate the CD/DVD drive that you inserted the game disk in (most likely your D: drive).

In the 'Edit' menu select 'Select All' and then in the 'Edit' menu select 'Copy'.

Then locate the Flashdrive in 'WIndows Explorer' or 'My Computer'. And in the 'Edit' menu select 'Paste'.

While this will copy the files from your game's CD/DVD disk to your Flashdrive you may or may not be able to install the game from your Flashdrive.

You can use this same procedure to copy small games to your Flashdrive from your Hard Drive.
You will need to know where on your hard drive they are located. And they may or may not run from your Flashdrive.

Also you may be able to install and run games from your Flashdrive, When you run the Setup program from you game disk you will usually be given the option to select a alternative location to install the game.
Select your Flashdrive at that point and it may install correctly to your Flashdrive. If it does you should be careful to always use the same USB port or the game won't run.

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports(com&lpt)right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

click start control panel administrive tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive

This is a problem with these flashdrives. Unless you use the correct procedure to remove them from the computer, there are all the chances that it will get corrupted and have to be thrown away, should that happen. What you do is that you use it on a different computer. A third or a fourth computer. Wherever it works copy the data and format it. If you fell that you have had enough, then throw it away. But, it should work on a different computer, so the time to throw it away should not come, hopefully.

If you open up "Explorer" and expand the directory that contains your pictures, and "Select All", "Drag and Drop" them onto your flashdrive. Ian.

Are you on Win_xp? If so, are you the administrator? If not Win_xp won't let you delete ANYTHING!

You must have all the programs files for the thing your opening. For example, If Im trying to open up google Sketchup from my Flash Drive, I need to have all the files that sketch up uses to run on the flash drive.
