Main shaft is rotating in wrong direction and causes the clutch at bottom of the shaft to make the clacking noise.

Sounds like the water seal is damaged and the leaking water has damaged the top bearing which is just below the water seal. You will need to have the hub & seal kit replaced.
SOURCE: stall in rinse cycle
loks as if its been amonth since this post, but i would chek your cold water supply, common problem
SOURCE: Loud noise during spin cycle and agitator won't rotate
the machine is nknown to have bad main seals, in turn leading to the corrosion of the spin bearing, in which case makes it sound as if a helicopter is landing in your laundry room
SOURCE: the washer is no longer going through the rinse cyle
Check the timer, which is behind the knobs, and check also the power supply. If both work, then move ontothe relay, if still no avail go to the computer board
SOURCE: loud noise during rinse cycle
Hi,
When a front load washing machine becomes very loud on the rinse or spin cycle it is often because of broken shock absorbers that hold the tub. This often break on the loop that the pin goes through and sometimes it will take a close inspection to see the break.
If you remove the front bottom cover it makes seeing the shocks easier. They are located on each side about halfway back. If you can take a hold of the tub and easily move it around then they are broke.
The shocks are not that hard to replace, but it will take a little bit of patience to get the job done. Some basic mechanical hand tools are all that is needed for the replacement.
You can find parts for your unit by doing a search for “appliance parts”.
Once you get the results of the search, pick a site and when it comes up it will usually ask for the model number of your unit.
Enter your model number and you will then get a page with exploded views and a parts menu.
Find the part you need and then order it.
Check a few different sites to be sure that you are getting the best pricing.
Most sites can have the part to you in a couple of days.
I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!
Thanks for using Fixya!!
