I don't use mine, it seems to flimsy and makes me nervous! I have several machines and some are singer that can run off that same power cord, don't get caught up on a specific model as they will really get you for the price. could have a problem with the computer part of the machine, it would be a good idea to have it checked.

Assuming your bobbin threading is correct, do re-threading on your top thread. Hope error E1 is gone.

Sound like your top thread tension is loose try increase the tension.

hi, well i going to state something silly so please don't have a go because they are excellent sewing machines,. is it tangling under underneath ?? the footer plate , Okay main cause that people over look, Thread diameter ??? Have you fed the thread correctly ??? Does the tension actually make the thread harder to pull, this is a very common problem , has the tension dial has become damaged or simply not assembled correctly ??? Please check the Needle. And put on the needle correct direction.

check the timing between the needle and rotating hook also check the teeth for possible lost of timing maybe low or high to much.

try a new post cord or

The top right of the machine directly below the bobbin spindle.

I am an experienced tech and i can tell you that oiling is not the problem here. If it froze up that quickly, after the servicing, then oiling is not the problem. We recommend that you oil it ONCE every 2,000 sewing hours. If it is freezing up, you need a good servicing from an honest dealer.But as far as oiling goes, just open your side cover from above the needle ans remove your needle plate, bobbin case etc and blow it out then put one drop of oil on every moving part.
