My car rattles when I accelerate what is the cause and what is the best solution

Sounds like it might need a tune-up and some higher octane gas for a while. You might try the gas treatment/water removers (Heet, STP, etc) as well.

2005 toyota camry indicator lamp came on while driving. What does this mean and would it be expensive to fix.

What indicator lamp? There are several. ABS, TRACTION CONTROL, BRAKE LIGHT, AIRBAG LIGHT, SEAT BELT LIGHT, MAINTENANCE LIGHT, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, OIL LIGHT, ETC. most of these will store codes when they turn on. All of those except the check engine light will require a high end scan tool to retrieve the codes. The check engine light codes can be retrieved by an OBDII code reader. You can purchase them for under $100 or you can swing buy your local parts store. Often they will pull codes for free. Once you know the codes you'll have a better idea of what needs to be done. MY NZE 2005 can't shift into gear from park but the engine is running. I'm getting lights, no radio and no power windows. Not sure whats the problem? help

You really should check your fuse panel. A blown fuse is easy to spot, the wire is gone. Or you could call a service centre. But first try yourself. Under the hood a plastic box with FUSE BOX on it. (Or something similar.)

Car starts then dies out

Well ron1686, if your car is a Toyota Corolla, 2005-2007, that problem is caused by the immobilizer security circuit. Somehow it stopped accepting your car keys. Depending on your case, you will either need to get new programmed keys or get your car computer (ecu) reprogrammed to accept your existing keys, like explained here:

If the security system was triggered on a 2005 Toyota corolla how would you reset it?

I had this problem once...if this system runs your car battery dead with the flashing lights and horn you have to totally lock the car up using the key in the lock on the driver's door from outside...then unlock it with the key...all this has to be done after the battery is charged enough to insure it has enough juice to electrically 'know' that the key was recognized and used...Good Luck and hope this helps!!

I have a 2005 Toyota corolla and yesterday we went out and the car was parked and turned off for an hour. When we went to start it everything but the engine would start. The lights the radio the heate

You are saying that the starter motor is not working, that the engine is not cranking over, even with a boost? If so, then either there is a problem in the starting circuit between the ignition switch and the starter, or the starter is bad. There is a way to check the starter on the vehicle: the starter will have 2 electrical connections. One is the positive battery cable, and the other is a small wire connection to the starter solenoid, mounted on the starter. The key should be off, the brake set, and the transmission in park or neutral. Use a small jumper wire or a small screwdriver, and jump the battery cable connection to the solenoid connector. Take off the solenoid electrical connector if you need room to do this. With key off, the engine won't fire and run, but if the starter is good, then jumping those two connections will make the starter engage and spin the engine over. (Of course, if key is in ON, the engine should start and run.) But you are just checking starter operation, so keep the key off. If starter is good it will crank the engine over. If jumping the two connections causes nothing, then it is pretty certain the starter motor or the solenoid is bad, and you need to replace it. (Take off the negative battery cable from the battery first to remove the starter from the vehicle.) If jumping the starter caused it to operate, the starter and solenoid are good, and there is, again, a problem in the start circuit from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid. It could be simple like an electrical connection (like the one right there on the solenoid), or a component in the circuit between the ignition switch and the starter solenoid, like the neutral safety switch for example. You will need a wiring diagram and a multi-meter to diagnose further. Good luck, and hope you find the problem. Are you sure your battery is still charged up good?
