  • Display:Imaging Unit Failure: #C3-1312. Install imaging unit again.
  • Description:Toner sensor is defective. The machine can't detect the sensor signal in the imaging unit normally.
  • Remedy:1) Install the genuine samsung imaging unit. 2) If the imaging unit is already installed, check the following. • Reinstall the toner cartridge and imaging unit. • Check if the CRUM connector is normal. • Turn the machine off then on.

Log into the service menu Samsung CLX-3175 without a numeric keypad similar to the unit Samsung SCX-4623F/FN:
Consistent set of combinations of
"MENU" - "COPY ID" - "LEFT" - "RIGHT" - "MENU" - "BACK" . Samsung CLX-3175XX/X with a numpad press: Menu, #1934, Menu
The unit switches to English, if you installed any other.
In the menu appears TECH MODE.
In
Samsung CLX-3175 to enter the reset require a password 1934. The numbers by pressing "LEFT" - "RIGHT",
After each number press the "OK"

This is likely to be a software\driver problem so you should try uninstalling the printer and then reinstalling it. You should, of course, download the latest drivers from Samsung.

There is something wrong with the cartrige head. First try to take out the cartrige and in the head there is contact points. You can try and clean it with a dry cloth.
