Interferance on the speaker even when on stand by

It is non-interferance.

Try reducing the Bass of the woofer. Also try moving it away from any other electrical devices as there might be interferance from other devices resulting in the humming sound.

You may be now living too close to a radio station. Sometimes when this is the situation, anything electronic gear plugged into a wall socket can act like an antenna, thus receiving signals from local radio stations.

Is it an aftermarket amp? If so, then check the ground. If the ground is good, then check the ground on the CD player. Even if it is a stock head- unit, the ground can come loose in the back If its loose try tightening it with a phillips head screw driver, or a 10mm socket. After you try that post back.

Same thing just happened to me, right channel and very loud. does anyone have any idea? please....

Hi Naomi. I am not sure of your model, but you probably have a build in mic. If so, open your sound properties from your task bar, Click on File - Advanced Properties. You should now see a "Mic" volume control. Mute this control and see if this stops the sound.

If this does not work, locate the manufacturer of your sound card and visit their website to download newer drivers, if available. If this also does not work, you will need to return the product to the retailer to reinstall a clean version of windows. Many times files become easily corrupt in the installation of audio codecs, drivers, etc. Hope this helps.

You need to adjust the volume on the computer down or use the headphone jack instead of a speaker output (if it has one).

is your sound card onboard? try to do the ff..
1. try to reinstall the driver.
2.clean the knob of your speaker, may be the volume of your speaker dirty ,clean it or try onother speaker
3.try to use another sound card ,may the onboard is defective already.

Check and make sure that there isn't a microphone too close to the speakers. If all else fails, go in to your Volume Control Panel on your computer and mute the mic channel. I hope this helps.

Sounds like you've got a floating ground wire on your wall outlet, or you're plugging the sub into a different circuit from the receiver.
Make sure your sub and receiver are plugged in to the same circuit (ideally, the same outlet) and if you still have the problem then you need an electrician to test/fix your ground wiring.
