Logitech X-530 5.1 speaker set blows internal fuse
Thats because its a 5amp 250Volts. You must have an older model and the beefed up the fuse later in production. mine just blew, unsoldered and about to replace. It states LF.T5AL250V. Hope that helps everyone. Takes about ten minutes to unscrew a good 20 screws, most of them are bolts and have nuts on the back so be prepared to have a pair of pliers handy, takes a 5 dollar solder gun from walmart to heat up the solder in the two points that are holding the fuse, once solder turns to liquid pull one side out, do the same to the other side to free the fuse. Fuse is in some kind of hold that i nearly impossible to remove (if you removed it then your in good shape, replace and solder in again) if you didnt remove it then head to home depot and pick up a small fuse holder and solder the leads in with just cheap solder from walmart. Be sure not to drip any solder over anything else on the board. Overall pretty easy fix.
I tried to extend the length of my front right
I doubt the extension cord has something to do with that...Usually if the wires are short it would effect the main unit.
Check the wires first, not only of the front right speaker but the others also...if they are short.
If there's a fuse in the main unit you might find yourself lucky...otherwise you will have to get it checked by a mechanic.
Speakers won't turn on
Have you checked the fuse in your plug. If the fuse has blown it won't work in any wall socket. Change the fuse for a new one anyway, then try again.
Logitech speakers will only play on 2 speakers not 5
Liamog, i bought the exact same speakers and sound card, and i had the exact same problem as you. I tried for days to fix it and it turns out that its only a setting you have to enable in your sound card settigns. If you go into your EAX console for your creative sound card you will find a thing that sams CMSS 3D, and all you have to do is select the button that says Enable CMSS 3d surround.
I hope this will fix your problem.

5.1 speakers connected to a dvd player ?
You need an RCA - RCA cable, that means that you need a cable with RCA at both ends.
At the back of the dvd player, look for sound section (RCA jack)
In the sound section look for "right" and "left" connect the two RCA jacks in there and you`re done.

If you don`t know how an RCA jack looks like, see
