1200 bussiness firmware error

I have the same issue, It just means to update the firmware. so far, i haven't got it to work after the firmware update. I laready replaced mainboard and scanner control board. lexmarp suggest to replaced the whole flatbed scanner.

Hi one thing you could try is to update the firmware to the most up to date level also check there is some times special firmware to fix issues similar to this if not you will need to change the print head

Only one thing would cause that: a severely corrupted firmware. Unfortunately to reload the firmware when the unit is dead it must be dismantled and the firmware storing chip accessed directly with a special tool that only the factory has. Sending it to the factory to be repaired will cost a lot so ask a quote before doing it, you might find out that it will be cheaper just to buy a new unit.

it is probable that you are downloading a game which requires higher firmware so try upgrading the firmware to 6.00 or above http://www.filecluster.com/Drivers/Firmware-Bios/Download-PSP-Playstation-Portable-Firmware.html download from the link and put in the common folder of the psp and run it and you are back in bussiness of GAMEPLAY

give print ... select your printer .... then go to preference it will open another window ...then go to .color tab ....select print in gray scale ......

Likely to be an issue with the ink cartridges not seated properly, according to Lexmark support:-

I also have a RoadMate 1200 and I wanted to update my map as well.

After extensive research (and periodically checking up on this every couple of months), I have found that the RoadMate series devices do not allow for any official map upgrades.

There have been reports of successful third party software installations on the RoadMate. Installing a third party software program (or "firmware") would completely change the menu on your GPS. It would be like installing Windows Vista on an iMAC. If it is possible to run an alternative firmware on the RoadMate, then it would be quite possible to download a usable map of Portugal. I have not seen any evidence of this yet. When I do I will let you know! :)

Also, an alternative firmware installation should only be done by an expert computer user. And an expert user knows that alternative firmware will void the warranty and that alternative firmware is VERY risky.

That is an iternal communications error. The first thing is to shut the printer and turn back on. If the error is still present the first item would be the firmware chip. I would remove the firmware and memory chips and reseat. Make sure you put the firmware chip back in the same slot. If that does not work, contact hp as they have a service not for firmware chip issues (not necessarily yours) and will replace it free. If not the chip it is either the formatter or the engine control board.
The Chips can be found by sliding the rear plastic panel on the right side of the printer towards the back of the printer You are looking at the formatter cage. Open the metal panel and chips are here
