Has the engine siezed or does it still pull over.? If it still pulls over, its probably a recoil starter issue.

Slacken off the 'tube shaft' retaining clamps at eithr end of the drive tube. Push tube back in towards the engine and resit the shaft and tighten clamp screws, repeat the same with the gear head on the other end.

Is the choke leaver stuck in the on position.? Is fuel getting into the cylinder.? Also check fuel lines are not damaged

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem, Check fuel lines, filter and primer bulb, also carb may need cleaning or new diaphrams

They are just a pull/push fit. The fuel line has 2 flanges that should fit either side on the fuel tank. Pretty simple to replace.

Remove the starter recoil, you may find you have damage to the starter pawl.

You may have damaged the carb by blowing out with air. Carbs contain tiny one way valves which are very delicate and can be damaged by cleaning with airlines. Do you have a good continuous spark? Do you have good compression.? Is fuel getting into the cylinder.?

Generally H is on the left as you look at it with the engine flat on the floor L is on the right.

Flooding of the engine, over fueling. Put choke ing to off position. Check Spark. It may not be sparking therefore its not ignighting the fuel in the cylinder.

Check fuel is getting into the cylinder, check you have good compression, check you have a good strong continuous spark. Once you have checked all these, please provide more information. Thank you

How does the engine sound when running.? Have you checked the crank bearings.?

If you're refering to working on the cutting head without the shaft turning then you should be able to lock the cutting head to remove it. There is a small hole in the top of the gear head that you need to put a small rod in to jam the head from turning.. this inturn will also stop the drive shaft from turning.

It could be a number of things. Possible over heating issue. But most likely to be a fueling problem, some machines have the tendancy of creating a vaccum in the fuel tank which prevents fuel beind drawn up by the carb.
