Johnson Minn Kota Mk 25 & Mk 35 On Board Maintainersstyle: Mk 35 - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Why does my johnson 90hp outboard top carb feed one cylinder and not the other?
I don't know if this will be helpful, but I would check the compression and see if the rings are holding compression. If they are, that would indicate the cylinder should be drawing air in through the carb. If there is poor compression in the cylinder in question, that could mean that cylinder is not drawing in the air through the carb.
I have a 91 40 horse Johnson boat motor that will only run on choke what can I do to fix this
Sounds like ideal jets are blocked or your fuel filter or fuel lines are partial blocked .
By using the choke you are making the engine suck fuel insted of of being pumped in to it .please take it to be repaired because it can all go wrong really quick and when your in the water fire can happen really quick and it never ends good.
Please don't cut corners just get it repaired at the marine. Its not like a car .the engine that can have a quick fix .
