My Roland KR 4500 powers up to a blank screen, no button led. No key sound.Power led is lit. Amp and speakers work fine with external sound input.

Sounds like a blown motherboard to me. It needs to go to the shop.

How do I fix a Roland Digital Piano FP-8 that has refused to play sounds despite the fact that it displays lights?

If everything lights up and responds to button pushes like normal, and you've done a hard reset as described in the manual, check to see if you have sound out of the headphone jack. It's most likely not a user serviceable problem and will need to go to the shop, but it will probably be the output amp rather than the main board.

At times during a performance the organ sounds drops significantly compared to the ensemble sounds, what could be the problem?

Has it always done that? It could be it just doesn't have enough power to play organ at full volume along side the ensemble.

I have a Roland vs 840 ex it has had a c.f. drive installed the machine seems to work perfect except when I set up and get ready to record and depress play or rec it says no disk. It has a 4gb c.f. ca

Try to initialise (format) it in your computer. Use an external card reader. I think you should use FAT 16 or FAT 32. But once the Roland sees the card, do an initialise there. It could be the Roland can;t work with memory cards above 2 Gbyte, for that try to make a 1 Gbyte partition in your computer and again try if it works.

I replace my battery in my roland xp 80 but it still say battery low on screen. what do i need to do

It's always possible the new battery had lost it's charge before it was installed. Check it with an ohm meter for it's voltage. Other than that, either the contacts in the battery holder may be in need of cleaning or the battery wasn't installed correctly.

When used, it seems to effect guitar amplifiers and cause a strange sort of a chorus sound, like somehow the unit is bleeding into the other amps.

it maybe interference picked up through an unsheided or poorly sheided cable or through single coil type pickups rather though the amp itself. You might also try get your power for the amps and this unit through different circuits.
