Ray marine has an extensive library on-line. I have usually been able to find what I need there. May take some digging though.

You may have a minor air leak in the fuel supply system. Over a period of time, the system draws in enough air that the pump looses it's prime.

Try a siphon bulb with a long tube attached. Lower the tube into the pockets of water and pump it out with a siphon bulb.

Even the smallest amount of friction can keep the paddle wheel from turning properly. See if it will turn if you blow on it. If not, there might be something impeeding it from turning easily.

Hi Airmar makes almost all of the transducers for Raymarine. From the Airmar FAQ section, your unit is listed. See the link below. Hi This is almost always caused by a dirty connection at the standby contact. If you're handy with electronic repairs, take the control apart and clean the circuit board for the contacts with silicone spray (safe for plastics) and a Q-tip and reassemble. Works 99 44/100% of the time. Hope this helps. -Steve

Sadly, the mic and cord for the Ray54 have been discontinued by the manufacturer. I guess if you plan to buy a Raymarine VHF, your best bet would be to buy a spare radio for parts. Unbelievable.
