I am trying to hook it to as a second TV on my Dish Network. The other TV that I had worked good. But now I get no picture on this TV. I have tried following the set up guide and still get no picture. The TV works great with a DVD and it worked great with a HD box.

This Orion TV made by Sansui was bought by me two weeks ago. It didn't last a week. The sound was terrible, picture was great, and it wouldn't hook up to soundbar without hearing a long delay in sound (A/V or Digital output tried two). I contacted their customer support twice, they were awesome. Told me this model has know issues and said to just bring it back. I found another TV for same price ($399) and same size (46) but it's LCD not LED, better picture and great sound! It is Insignia don't remember the model #. Bought at Best Buy (their house brand).
Hey there, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service here. It sounds like you are going to need to change your TV back to the proper input or channel. If the TV remote is not working to change the channels you can also use the buttons on the front of the TV. First look for a button listed as either input, TV/video, source or AUX. When you press this button it will start cycling through all the inputs available, make sure to cycle through them slowly because it make take a couple seconds for the picture to come in. If you do not find a picture on any of the inputs you are going to need to try the different channels. Normally for a TV where the receiver box is the TV should be set to channel 3 or 4. Once you have found your DISH Network picture you will want to make sure to push the SAT button on the DISH remote so that it doesn't change the TV channel again. I hope you find this information useful and if you have any further questions or concerns please let me know. Thanks. :)
I would try using a gold plated HDMI cable. Often the problem is that the cable is not capable of sending enough frames per second. I replaced mine with a slightly better quality cable I picked up at Sears for $25.00 and the issue was not only resolved th picture quality was unbelievable. If this doesn't help just reply and I will address this with you further!
If you are using a powerstrip may not be supplying enough power to run the LG HDTV and your HD receiver. If you are using a powerstrip make sure the receiver is plugged directly into the wall. Otherwise this may be a grounding issue please reply if this doesn't work and we can look into some other possibilities. Daniel Busa DISH Network Customer Service
Had same problem - turned off Adaptive Lumina, Backlight control, and Ambient light sensors on the Vizio advanced picture settings and the Dish remote now works. Vizio was emitting an infared signal that interfered with the Dish remote signals with these settings on. TV still works and looks just fine... But best of all Dish remote works too.
It sounds like either on the 612 or the Yamaha Receiver that the HDMI port is faulty, thus causing the flashing picture. It sounds like the 612 to the TV works fine. I would recommend replacing the Yamaha, and if problem persists then try replacing the 612.
bring the tv out to the main tv and hook it up to that connection to determine if it's the TV or the connection. Or try hooking up a VCR to the tv while the TV is set to CH 3. Do you get a blank picture or a snowy Picture?
If it works on DVD but not on your Dish, and when you connected it to another house it had the same problem then it sounds like your input connection is bad on the TV. That is if I am understanding this right. From what I am reading your Dish network is not showing a picture but the audio is working fine. The DVD player works fine on the TV though. Then you took the TV and hooked it to another dish system and it was the same problem. That sounds to me like you TV is having a problem, either that or the cables for your Dish network are bad. Try switching to a different input, like the one the DVD player is on and seeing if it works there. If not, then the cables are bad and you just need to replace the cables. If it does work though where the DVD was working before then your TV input is bad on that port you were hooked to before.

you can try changing the assigned channel.you should have to put the second T V on a certain channel like channel 72 or 68 or something like that.on the main reveiver you should go into the menu and poke around in the setting until you see a REMOTE ADDRESS option walk through the steps and change the channel that the second TV receives its picture on, you should shoot for channel 62-72.also make sure the hisense is set to a cable input.you can go into the menu on the hisense and go to your settings and change this .it will be on CABLE or ANTENNA.try switching those around.also did you have sound before coming out of the coax output on the hisense? if your not sure then plug a vcr into and make sure the TV is working with different equipment.GOOD LUCK!
