A basic HDMI Cable is your Solution.

Plug it into the TV via the HDMI cable and then put the TV on the proper channel by pressing the "Input" or "Source" Button" on your remote until you get to the one your HDMI cable is plugged into(it's labeled on the tv at the input as "HDMI 1" or "HDMI 2" Etc.

You may need to do a reset on your PS System to reset the Display Settings- I've had the same issue as you're having before and you simply reset the PlayStation by holding down the power button until you hear it beep and turn off, keep holding it until it turns on and off again. Now when it is turned back on you should see a message on your screen saying "HDMI Cable Detected" & just follow the instructions on your tv screen!

If this was helpful please click click the green button to let me know, best of luck and have a great evening!!!

If you need further help, please don't hesitate to ask!

Turn "closed captioning" off in your menu under display settings, if it's not there it's under "sound settings". Thanks & have a great day!

First, verify that your computer is sourcing video through the HDMI port rather than looking for an input from it.

What happens if you try to select an HDMI input on the TV with no HDMI cable connected? It should select the port, then complain about "No signal." If you get that, turn off the TV and computer, connect the HDMI cable, turn on the TV first, then the computer.

There are certain HDMI input chips on the market that are very vulnerable to static electricity damage, and some cheap HDMI switches will conduct a static discharge from the switch mechanism to the HDMI lines (a friend blew two chips that way, then he realized both times the input went out when he used the switch). Use a direct cable connection if possible, and avoid putting a fingertip into the free end of an HDMI cable when the other end is the only one connected. Symptoms of static electricity damage may include "no signal" when an active signal source is connected, or some sort of data format error message. I don't know if your TV is programmed to lock out bad ports; I would think there would be some sort of fault indication to go with the lockout.

Do a hard reset to this set first. The do a re-tune (auto channel scan). all the available channels on air or cable will be stored in its memory. There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Hi,
I had exactly this problem following a Main AV Board swop, after much head scratching I noticed one digit different in the middle of the typically long part number string, replacing the Board again for one with exactly the same number cured the problem, why do manufacturers do this to us.
