I need the procedure to enter a new ip in a tallygenicom 9022. we can print out he old address but cannot get info on putting in a new one

If the printer already has an IP address and you know what it is by printing a config page, the simplest thing to do is connect a pc directly to the printer using a cross over network cable. Ensure the IP address in the PC is in the same range as the printer ie only the fourth octet is different. Ensure you can PING the printer Enter the current IP address of the 9022 in a web browser and it should take you to the printers internal web page whic will allow you to change network settings. An alternative option is to use the ARP command at the DOS prompt, for this you will need the MAC for the network card on the printer, this will be on the printed network config page and on a lable on the network card. For help on the ARP command type; ARP /? At the DOS command propt on a PC. A third option is to use a software utility called SYNCTHRU supplied on the installation CD that was with the network card when new.

Wireless printer goes offline

Let's set a static IP address for the printer:<br /><br />- Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.<br />- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.<br />- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.<br />- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). You can change the DHCP range of the router using its internal settings page.<br />- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)<br />- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway and first DNS. Leave the second one blank.<br />- Click 'Apply'.<br /><br />Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.<br /><br />After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

Aficio 1515MF All-In-One Laser Printer: I don't know where to find my IP address on my 151...

If you're at the copier, go into User Tools, and then under System Settings there should be a Network section, and then in that Network section you should be able to find the IP address.

You can also print out a config page by going into User Tools and then Printer Settings, and selecting List/Test Print. The config page will have all of your network settings, including IP address.

If you're running Windows Vista and the 1515 is hooked up to your computer, you can view the IP address by hovering over the copier on the Network Map (from the Network and Sharing Center).

DPR-1260 ... prints but cannot access web config page

To get into the web configuration you need to know your firmware on the DPR-1260. If it is 1.12, us http://dlinkps-xxxxxx where the X's are the last 6 number of the mac address. If it is 1.20 and up, use http://dlink-xxxxxx, where the x's are the last 6 number of the mac address. If you do set it up as DHCP or static and know the ip address of the print server just type in the ip address of the print server on the address bar.
